Diablo 4 Open Beta Schedule; New Cinematic Trailer

The second day of the IGN Fan Fest 2023 event brought us a handful of information on the highly anticipated Diablo IV. In addition to the presentation of a new cinematic trailer, we learned when the game's open beta testing starts.

As previously announced, during the second day of IGN Fan Fest 2023 we received another dose of information about Diablo IV. In addition to the presentation of the game's opening video, the key element turned out to be a conversation with the game's director, Joe Shely, and the date he announced for the open beta testing of the upcoming game.

Players who decided to pre-order the title will be able to play on March 17-19. Others, on the other hand, will get such a chance a week later: March 24-26. Early version of Diablo IV will be available to owners of both PC, as well as PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S consoles. Participants will need an account on Battle.net to redeem the code that entitles them to early participation in the test. Information on how to do so can be found here.

As Shely stated, the beta will enable us to get to know the game from the inside out. The prologue and Act I will be available, taking place on the Shattered Peaks. During the two weekends of testing, the characters we create will reach a maximum of level 25.

However, before the beta arrives, on February 28, there will be a broadcast on the game's official channels on Twitch and YouTube, featuring lead world designer Art Peshkov, lead systems designer Meng Song and the aforementioned game director Joe Shely, who will share more information about the upcoming game.

Finally, it is worth recalling that the premiere of Diablo IV is scheduled for June 6, 2023. The title will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S.

Looking out for destiny during the 58th screening of his beloved Die Hard, he decided – like John McCLane – to fight for a better future. He found the avenue to do this in Gamepressure. Since he's still a freshman in the newsroom, he doesn't have a target subject he wants to focus on yet.
