The moment that all „hardcore” gamers have been waiting for has arrived. We found out when exactly the first season of Diablo 4 will launch.
As previously announced, we witnessed the broadcast dedicated to the studio's latest game, Diablo IV. During it, we learned when exactly the first season of the online game will launch. This will take place on July 20. Recall that each season in Diablo IV will last three months, meaning the first one will end in November.
Season of the Malignant will tell the story of a new kind of Lilith warp that has begun to spread throughout Sanctuary. In order to discover its source and put an end to it, the player must cooperate with Cormond, a former priest of the Cathedral of Light. This is a side story that takes place after the main campaign - it must be completed with at least one character to gain access to seasonal content.
As we know, the seasons in Blizzard's latest game will offer two combat pass paths - free and paid. The former will provide access to 27 reward tiers (including cosmetic items and additional in-game currency). The price of the paid pass is 1,000 platinum pieces (equivalent to about $10). Those who decide to purchase it will not receive any enhancements to facilitate gameplay, but, among other things, special skins.
Remember. if you want to gain combat pass levels - whether from the paid or free path - you will have to start playing with a new character from scratch. You will also have to do so in each subsequent season.
If you want to learn more about the season of spitters, I refer you to the official website of the event.
During the broadcast, it was also announced that later today Diablo IV will receive update 1.0.4. The devs also presented a new character class (confirming the leaks), which will make its way to the mobile game Diablo Immortal. It will be Blood Knight.
