Diablo 4's Impressive Collector's Edition Doesn't Include the Game

Diablo 4 will receive an impressive collector's edition, which includes, among other things, a cloth map of Sanctuary. Unfortunately, it does not contain a copy of the game itself.

At the recent The Game Awards 2022 gala, Blizzard presented a trailer with the release date of Diablo 4. Simultaneously with this announcement, preorders for the title also took off, although not all editions of the game are available for purchase yet. In four days (on December 15) an impressive collector's edition will be made available for sale.

The most expensive edition of Diablo IV will be available only at Blizzard Gear Store. Its exact price is unknown at this point. However, we know that it will consist of the following items:

  1. candle,
  2. linen map of Sanctuary,
  3. artbook,
  4. Horadric pin,
  5. mouse pad,
  6. two paintings.

As you can easily see, this edition is sold without the game. However, this does not constitute a particularly shocking decision. Many publishers have offered similar sets before. Electronic Arts, for example, recently decided on a similar move - the collector's edition of Need for Speed Unbound also does not include a copy of the game.

Diablo IV will debut on June 6, 2023. The title is headed for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
