Remember New Dune Movie? It's Been Delayed Again

The premiere of Dune got delayed once again. Denis Villeneuve's movie will appear in theaters (or on HBO Max) a few weeks later than expected.

Denis Villeneuve's Dune was supposed to be one of the biggest movie releases of the past year, and indeed it looked like it could be, if you recall its beautiful trailer. Just as we were slowly getting ready to see it, it was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. The movie was supposed to be released in December last year, but it was delayed to October 1, 2021. Recently we found out that also this release date is no longer valid.

This time, however, the delay was slight, because only three weeks, but it still hurts and worries the fans. Dune will come to us on October 22, 2021 - we are talking about both the theatrical and streaming premiere, as the production will appear in HBO Max as a temporary part of its offer (it is enough to have a subscription, no additional fees are required).

This delay does not change the fact that we are only a few months away from the release. Therefore, we should expect various promotional materials appear in the nearest future to remind the viewers all over the world about the upcoming film. Who knows - maybe we will be able to see the next trailer.

The new Dune will be graced not only with Denis Villeneuve's directorial artistry, but also with the acting of a star cast, starring Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, and Zendaya. That's a lot of high-profile names for one movie.
