EA Play and Xbox Game Pass PC Merger Date Announced
Microsoft has revealed the date when EA Plays's offer will be included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription on PC. As previously announced, it will happen this December.

Development of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service is one of the priorities for Microsoft and its Xbox division. The subscription's offer is regularly expanded with new games not only from the portfolio of Xbox Game Studios, but also third-party developers and publishers. The great news was the September announcement of the merger of EA Play (former Origin Access Basic) and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions under a new agreement between Microsoft and Electronic Arts. This has already happened on the consoles on November 10, while PC owners will gain access to EA's games on December 15, this year.
The inclusion of the paid EA Play subscription in the Xbox Game Pass on PC will not raise the overall costs. In addition to the ability to play over 60 productions from Electronic Arts portfolio (including Battlefield, FIFA, Need for Speed and Star Wars series , including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order), including special trial versions, the players will receive a 10% discount on the publisher's games in Origin and Microsoft stores. EA Play in Xbox Game Pass will not be upgradable to the more expensive EA Play Pro subscription, offering launch access to new titles such as Star Wars: Squadrons and FIFA 21.
