Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7 Conquered PS Store in March

Sony has shared PlayStation Store's game sales results for March. The month was dominated by Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Elden Ring was the best-selling PS5 game in the US in March 2022'
  • In Europe, the leading position was taken by Gran Turismo 7;
  • Also high in the ranking were GTA 5 and WWE 2K22.

March is behind us, so Sony decided to share a ranking of the best-selling games on PlayStation Store. It should not surprise anyone that the list was dominated by Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7, the latter being a Sony exclusive.

A triumph of great premieres

In the US market, the biggest selling PS Store title on PS5 is Elden Ring. FromSoftware's game left no illusions to the competition and proved that it is the most important premiere of the month in that region.

The next spot was taken by Gran Turismo 7 and behind it we find WWE 2K22, followed by the everlasting GTA 5. The game was high on the list due to the release of its 9th-gen console version.

Things are different in the European market. Here, the most popular game was the aforementioned Gran Turismo 7.

Polyphony Digital's racing game was ahead of the exceptionally popular GTA 5, which took second place. Elden Ring had to settle for third spot.

FIFA dominates on PS4

We also got to know the results for PlayStation 4 games. On last-gen console in the United States, the first place went to Elden Ring. In Europe, this position is occupied by FIFA 22.

Elden Ring on the PS4 only took third place in Europe, as well as on the PS5. The second place went to Gran Turismo 7, while in the U.S. this place belonged to WWE 2K22. GT7 was only third in the US.
