Rumor: Elden Ring With Multiplayer, Character Creation and Classes

Reliable reports have appeared in the web, according to which Elden Ring will offer multiplayer mode similar to the Dark Souls series. We can also expect a character creator.

RUMOR HIGHLIGHTS:
  1. Elden Ring will feature multiplayer and PvP clashes;
  2. Players will get a character creator and the ability to choose a starting class;
  3. The game will be more colorful than Dark Souls.

Soon it will be two years since the announcement of Elden Ring, the new RPG by From Software, the studio known from the Dark Souls series. Until now, however, we have received few details about the project, so we welcome all fresh reports with great interest. The latest comes from ResetEra forum user Omnipotent, who has a good reputation for leaks of this type.

From his forum posts we can learn that Elden Ring will offer a multiplayer mode, including PvP. The Dark Souls series offered such network functionality and the fans praised it highly. Online elements were not featured in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, so From Software's return to these solutions should please many people.

Elden Ring will also offer a character creation system and class mechanics - in both cases, these solutions will be similar to those used in the Dark Soulsseries . As for the classes, we'll choose one of them at the start, but after that, the game will somewhat limit the freedom of character progression.

A few days ago a trailer for Elden Ring leaked online. Omnipotent claims that it was not a deliberate action of the publisher, being a part of the marketing campaign. The trailer was prepared for Bandai Namco Entertainment's internal use and was never meant to be released to the general public. That's why the video doesn't reveal much about the project and is missing many key elements, such as the weather system.

Omnipotent also added that the game will be much more colorful than From Software's previous RPGs. That's not to say there won't be any dark elements, but the developers want the world to be colorful and vibrant.

Of course, until official confirmation, this info should be taken with a grain of salt. However, it seems to be credible. Unfortunately, we don't know when we'll find out what it's really like, because the planned release date of Elden Ring still hasn't been announced. We also don't know when we can expect the game's presentation.

While waiting for Elden Ring, it's worth revisiting Dark Souls 3 and checking out some mods.

Waiting for the release of Elden Ring is a good moment to revisit Dark Souls 3. Fans have already thoroughly enjoyed this game, but thanks to mods, a return to the dark world can offer a fresh experience.

The most popular modification for Dark Souls III is Cinders. The project raises the difficulty level and introduces changes in the balance of elements such as enemy stats, weapon functions and available skills, so that each style of gameplay is effective. Another interesting mod is BloodSouls: Judgement of Ash, which significantly expands the content of the game. We get 150 new weapons (including many from Bloodborne), additional animations, enemies, rebuilt boss fights and a few new enemies, locations and spells, including the fourth domain - necromancy.

Another proposal worthy of attention is DS3 Ascended Mod RPG, which strengthens the RPG elements, so that careful character progression becomes crucial to our survival. The mod also introduces new types of enemies. modifies old ones and improves their AI. In addition, every clash in all locations has been reworked - enemies are now in different places, in different configurations and types. The project also has versions for Dark Souls: Remastered (Ascended Mod) and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (SOTFS Ascended Mod).
