Elden Ring will get a small DLC with new content. Unfortunately, you will have to pay for them
The additional content of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 will also be available on other platforms. Unfortunately, it will not be a free update, but paid DLC.

In early April, when Nintendo revealed details about Switch 2, they also provided a list of third-party games that will be ported to this console. Among them was Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, whose additional content will also be available on other platforms in the form of DLC.
Small DLC for Elden Ring
FromSoftware Games Event Spring 2025 took place yesterday in Tokyo. During the event, the developers presented some of the new content (via RPG Site). In addition to the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, The Tarnished Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 will offer two new character classes:
- Knight of Ideas
- Heavy Knight
They will be equipped with two out of four completely new sets of armor. We will have to find the rest of them ourselves in the Lands Between. FromSoftware also announced that they will add more new weapons and abilities. The developers will also add three new skins for Torrent.
The extra content will also be available on other platforms, i.e. PC and PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S consoles in the form of a DLC called Tarnished Pack. Unfortunately, gamers will have to pay for it, although it's worth noting that the price is supposed to be small.
The exact release date of Elden Ring on Nintendo Switch 2 remains unknown. We only know that it is supposed to happen in 2025.
It's worth reminding that recently Elden Ring reached a significant milestone of over 30 million players. Its spin-off titled Elden Ring: Nightreign will debut on May 30th. In one of the previous news, you will find its system requirements.
