Fallout 76 Not Just From Bethesda; Third-party Studios to be Involved

Bethesda has engaged third-party studios to work on Fallout 76, among other things, to deliver new content in future seasonal updates.

We got to know the next team involved in the development of Fallout 76. Sperasoft has announced supporting Bethesda in the work on the next seasonal updates for the game. The team has been helping the developers of the online Fallout for two years now and has assured that it intends to continue its work.

Fallout 76 ans Sperasoft

In truth, it's hard to say if this announcement actually means any change behind the scenes. Some read it as an announcement of Sperasoft's greater involvement in the development of Fallout 76.

So far, the studio was mainly responsible for creating 3D objects - be it landscapes or character model elements. The company offered similar support to other developers, helping with such projects as Halo Infinite, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla or Anthem. Perhaps, as some believe, this time Sperasoft will also take on new content?

The problem is that the announcement doesn't feature a single mention of Sperasoft's alleged new duties. Yes, there was mention of the team continuing to work on seasonal updates for Fallout 76 - but the word "continuing" hardly suggests any new activity. In fact, one might get the impression that Sperasoft is simply boasting about its existing work on the game and intends to continue supporting Fallout 76 in the same way.

The many creators of Fallout 76

Regardless of the significance of this announcement, it is a confirmation that the development of Fallout 76 is not being overseen by Bethesda Softworks alone. Since March, we've known about the involvement of Double Eleven's involvement in the game's development. In this case, it has been confirmed that it is indeed about creating new content.

Perhaps this has something to do with Bethesda's other projects. The company had to postpone releases of Starfield and Redfall and it is possible that part of the team previously responsible for F76 will be relegated to these projects. Especially if the rumors about game's dire condition are true.
