Forspoken looks promising. Among other things, the new game footage includes information on system requirements.
Producer Raio Mitsuno reported of an update to the demo of Forspoken, available since December on the PS5 console. In addition to resolving various technical issues, the update introduced button mapping and adjusted font sizes. We also learned that the PC version will offer support for ultrawide screens (up to 32:9 aspect ratio), AMD FSR 2.0, 7.1 HDR audio, mouse and keyboard, DualShock 4, DualSense and gamepads with DirectInput and Xinput interfaces, among others.
In recent months Forspoken has been talked about mainly because of jokes related to the game's trailer. However, the game by Square Enix-owned studio Luminous Productions promises to be very ambitious, which is confirmed by the latest gameplay footage. In addition to the gameplay itself, we also received a bit of information on the game's requirements.
Square Enix's official YouTube channel has published just over an hour of footage, showing some gameplay fragments. The video is in Japanese and focuses on terrain exploration and combat.
During the video, around the 40-minute mark, the game's requirements are presented and it looks like Forspoken will take up a lot of disk space. The game requires as much as 150 GB of free space.
