Gameplay From Canceled Title Created by Ghost of Tsushima Devs

Gameplay from a canceled Sucker Punch Productions studio game - Prophecy has leaked into the web. The title slightly remembers the Assassin's Creed series, as well as the latest work of the developer - Ghost of Tsushima.

We are unlikely to be able to play Prophecy.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. A gameplay from an early version of Sucker Punch's canceled game called Prophecy appeared on the web;
  2. The title is a bit like the AC series, although the atmosphere is more akin to The Order: 1886. We will also find a couple of mechanics in it, which eventually ended up in Ghost of Tsushima.

The latest work from Sucker Punch Productions has recently been released - the PS4 exclusive action adventure game set in feudal Japan, Ghost of Tsushima. It turns out, however, that previously the American developer had been working on yet another unfinished project called Prophecy. A gameplay from an early version of the said game has just appeared on the web.

The game resembles one of the installments of the Assassin's Creed series, although its atmosphere is slightly different (it evokes associations with The Order: 1886). On the video w can also see a few solutions, which eventually, in a slightly changed form, found their way to Ghost of Tsushima - namely the combat system, gadgets, stealth or climbing.

The whole thing looks pretty good (for an early version), but seems to lack a distinct character - especially in comparison to the exceptionally charming Ghost of Tsushima. The world shown on the above material gives the impression of a place that we have already had the opportunity to explore more than once. And what do you think? Would you prefer Sucker Punch Productions finished Prophecy?
