God of War: Ragnarok Patch Fixed a Minor but Important Problem

The new patch for God of War: Ragnarok is not just the photo mode. It's also dozens of minor changes dictated by player complaints. One fix in particular should please the fans.

Yesterday's update to God of War: Ragnarok introduced not only the photo mode. It also brought dozens of minor fixes that should make playing the game more pleasant. One of them will be especially appreciated by those who decided to adapt the completionist approach.

This is because a job - i.e. a side activity - called Demolition was fixed. It consisted of smashing 50 red vases, which - when hit by Kratos' axe - exploded. The catch was that it was extremely difficult to find so many of them. Players claimed to have combed the nine worlds several times each, and still were unable to find the last few pieces.

Clever users tried to take advantage of a glitch that enabled one red vase to be smashed several times. I would have quoted the description, but now there is no need for such tricks, because....

...because the problem has been fixed. Most likely, there were never 50 red vases in the game in the first place, because the number required to complete the Demolition job was reduced to 40. If you struggled with this task - importantly, not required to earn "platinum" - when you return to the game, you should complete it without a problem or find it in the list of completed quests, if you previously met its new conditions.

In addition, the update has improved loading times on PS4, made the endgame mission "After Ragnarok" not display the (im)possible to get experience points, and made a number of minor changes - for example, improved the behavior of the Crimson Dread dragon, which sometimes did not want to attack the player, even though it should have. The full list of fixes can be found here.
