The developers of Hogwarts Legacy have presented a handful of stats from the game. They show what a phenomenon the work of Avalanche Software has become.
It's been a month now since the release of Hogwarts Legacy. This relatively short time enables us to recognize the work of Avalanche Software as an unquestionable hit. Scores of Harry Potter universe fans enthusiastically joined the game and are playing ever since - as evidenced by the fact that at the moment I am writing these words Legacy of Hogwarts is running on the accounts of nearly 107,000 Steam users.
The developer and publisher, Warner Bros., decided to modestly celebrate the first month anniversary, publishing a handful of stats from the game on Twitter. It turns out that Hogwarts Legacy players:
These numbers say a lot about the interest enjoyed by Hogwarts Legacy. The above stats can be further enriched by the percentage of people who have completed the game. Depending on the criterion adopted - willingness to see the subtitles or not - two achievements tell us about it: "Heroes of Hogwarts" and "Quest for Knowledge". You can find the data on them in the table below (those from Xbox seem a tad inflated compared to PC and PS5).
Achievement | PC (Steam) | PS5 | XSX/S |
Heroes of Hogwarts (Defeating the final boss) | 22,1% | 21,9% | 40,7% |
The quest for knowledge ("real" ending with subtitles) | 11,3% | 11,2% | 19,2% |
And one dreads to think to what extent the stats will increase when Hogwarts Legacy will finally be released on 8th-gen consoles. As a reminder, a few days ago, the PS4 and XOne versions have been once again delayed - will be released on May 5. On Switch, meanwhile, the game is expected to arrive on July 25.
