Identity of P.T.'s Protagonist Confirmed
Lance McDonald made another discovery in P.T. He managed to confirm who is the main character in the demo of the would-be horror game from Hideo Kojima.
The incomplete horror game by Hideo Kojima was cancelled more than four years ago, but its demo, so called P.T. continues to fascinate the gaming community. The would-be installment of theSilent Hill series was targeted by Lance McDonald, who is also known for discovering the secrets of From Software games. After the chilling information about Lisa, the hacker answered another major question: Who is the main character of the demo? It is clear from the Twitter entry that Norman Reedus, who recently appeared in another production of Kojima, is the protagonist.
McDonald's discovery is hardly shocking. We knew that Norman Reedus would lend his voice and appearance to the main character as early as 2014, when P.T. turned out to be the teaser of the project known as Silent Hills. The point is that in the demo it couldn't be confirmed in any way the player's character may have been represented by a simple placeholder model. So the hacker's entry is not so much a novelty as a confirmation of player theories. Unfortunately, surprise or not, such reports are all we can count on in the subject of P.T. after the parting of Kojima with Konami. The only consolation is that with his new employer, the Japanese is already thinking about the next, "most horrible" survival horror game, and he is preparing for the development by watching horror movies.
