Fresh rumors about the PC ports of Returnal and Sackboy: A Big Adventure have surfaced. This time they are accompanied by screenshots allegedly showing the config menus for both games on PC.
A pleasant surprise of yesterday was the announcement of the PC versions of Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. At the same time, reports have surfaced online that seem to confirm that Sony's next PC ports will be Returnal and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
We are now virtually certain that both games are heading to PC. Indeed, the fresh reports are the latest in a series of rumors suggesting plans to port these games. Speculation on the port of Sackboy: A Big Adventure was first heard last year. In turn, mentions of Returnal were recently found in the Steam database.
Both games also appeared in the famous GeForce NOW leak. Many of the games listed there were later officially announced (such as the PC edition of God of War), so the same will probably happen with Returnal and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
It's worth adding that recently Sony has been investing more and more in PC games. The following titles have already been released on PC: Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone and God of War and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is on its way. In addition, the corporation has bought Nixxes, a team specializing in porting games from consoles to PC. This is the team responsible for the ports of Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Sony recently revealed that about half of the games to be release by the company in 2025 will target PC and mobile devices. There were also credible rumors that there are plans for a PC version of PlayStation Network launcher.
