The past year was not very good for those waiting for Dying Light 2 from Polish studio Techland. It started with the announcement that the launch was delayed to an unspecified date. Later, specifically in May, we received an assurance that the work on the title, despite some problems, was already on its way to completion, but apart from that, in the last twelve months we got nothing solid on the game. It seems, however, that this silence will soon come to an end. This is at least what the following entry from Techland suggests. The company wishes the Dying Light community a merry Christmas and informs that new details about the sequel (via Reddit) will appear next year.
Such an assurance, although it may seem obvious at first glance, will certainly dispel at least some fears of fans most concerned about the fate of Dying Light 2. The question remains, what will be the first official information about the title after the long period of silence? Will we get a new release date? Or maybe the team from Techland will present another gameplay? Everything should be clear in the next months.
