New Leaks About RTX 3000 SUPER and RTX 4000 GPUs

More leaks have surfaced regarding the refreshed GeForce RTX 3000 SUPER line of GPUs and the next-generation RTX 4000, based on TSMC N5 technology.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • RTX 3000 SUPER may appear at the turn of 2021 and 2022;
  • RTX 4000 GPUs may not be released until next year.

Twitter user Greymon55 provides information about possible RTX 3000 SUPER GPU release dates. According to him, they could appear already at the turn of 2021 and 2022. The same person also writes about the next generation of Nvidia chips - Ada Lovelace. We're talking about the RTX 4000 cards, the release date of which is set by the leaker for October next year. Of course, these are only leaks and should be taken with caution.

The mobile version of SUPER chips would debut in early 2022, the stationary - possibly a little earlier. The refresh of the RTX line will take place under the so-called Ampere Refresh. New models can be from 5 to 10% faster than their counterparts without the word "SUPER" in the name. So claims a youtuber from the RedGamingTech channel. For example, the alleged RTX 3090 SUPER will most likely still be based on the GA-102 chip, only with more cores and more memory, as well as with optimized performance. This applies to desktop cards - in the case of mobile cards, rumor has it they will uses GA-103 GPU.

Not much is known about the RTX 4000. One of the reliable informants, kopite7kimi, writes about the next-gen cards using TSMC N5 technology. However, we have to wait for confirmation of release dates (although it is worth bearing in mind that often his leaks turn out to be accurate). AMD may try to show Radeon 7000 series at a similar time as Nvidia's next-gen Lovelace. But even before that, we'll get a real novelty in the form of Intel's Arc Alchemist high-performance GPUs.
