RESIDENT EVIL 2 IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Developer: Capcom
  2. Publisher: Capcom
  3. Genre: survival horror
  4. Platforms: PC, XONE, PS4
  5. Release date: January 25, 2019.

We are only eight days away from the release of Resident Evil 2, the remake of the classic survival horror game from 1998. On the occasion of the upcoming release, Capcom organized an event in Dubai, during which a handful of new information about the project was revealed.

Asked about the size of the campaign, the authors stated that it would take about 10 hours to complete the campaign with one character. The game has two main protagonists and their storyline paths overlap in part, but still it means that the game will offer a decent length by the standards of the survival-horror genre.

The creators were also asked about possible remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. While they unable to give any specific answer to this question, we believe that such a project will be implemented as long as Resident Evil 2 proves to be a great commercial success.

Let's recall that Resident Evil 2 is developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title will be released on January 25, this year. The PC version of the game will be using the Denuvo anti-piracy system.

If you want to test the game before its release, you can download a demo version until January 31. It is quite unusual, because the players have only half an hour to complete it. No wonder that only 28% of players have completed the demo. On the PC, however, fans have found a way to disable the counter.
