If after the Feybreak update Palworld doesn't launch for you anymore, we have a fix that will allow you to jump back and explore the world of Pals again.
It’s been almost a year since the tremendous launch of Palworld. Getting a third place on Steam’s All-Time Peak (via SteamDB), the popularity quickly diminished, yet never dwindled to a really small number. However, players occasionally get back to check the new additions to this game, as they did during Sakurajima update. Now, a new one has been released, entitled “Feybreak”. The name of this content patch seems to be ominous, as for many fans the game literally breaks – they are unable to launch the production anymore. Let’s try to find the culprit of those crashes and determine whether there is a fix for this.
If you have waited for Feybreak to arrive and check out, you might have been unpleasantly surprised by a crash that won’t allow you to launch the game. This is definitely not something that we expect from a new Palworld patch. However, everything indicates that the problem causing Feybreak launch crash is not directly the developers’ fault.
It is safe to assume that this is the result of mods that you might have previously installed. There are several solutions that you can try to fix the problem:
It’s a known issue, at least for many modifications enjoyers. Time and time again, when a major update for a game happens, it tends to change its inner workings that often interferes with currently installed mods. Let the most recent example be Stalker 2. Also, not that long ago, Cyberpunk 2077 fans have encountered the same challenge, yet it was acknowledged by CD Projekt, who allowed them to easily roll back their game version to give mods’ creators time to adjust their works. Good luck!
