Footage from an early version of the Silent Hill 2 remake has leaked online, suggesting a major change in gameplay.
Some interesting materials, supposedly coming from the officially unannounced remake of Silent Hill 2 from Polish studio Bloober Team, have surfaced on the web.

More for You:
The situation is interesting because Bloober Team is a rare case of a devteam that has created a contemporary game with a more old-school camera style. This is how the action is shown in last year's The Medium, where this solution worked very well. Thus, the Polish team should have no problem repeating it in the remake of Silent Hill 2if that's what the owners from Konami wish.
Recall that the Japanese publisher is expected to announce a new project from a major brand at this year's Tokyo Game Show, which will be held on September 15-18. Insiders say it will be a collection of first three remastered installments of Metal Gear Solid. The remake of Silent Hill 2 is expected to be revealed at a more international event, such as September's PlayStation State of Play or December's The Game Awards.
