“Lemon’s huge rough cousin” in Cookie Jam is far from being straightforward. To be honest I had some problems with answering this question. Let’s solve it together.

Cookie Jam is known for its tricky questions. The hints are sometimes hardly helpful at all. But overall, answering Buzzwords is good fun. It reminds me of Wordle (here’s today’s hint – July 25, if you have not done it yet), as we can learn new words thanks to it. However, while Wordle offers you only a prestige for a long winning streak, Cookie Jam features premium rewards! The more of them you solve, the better prizes you get. So, let’s solve another puzzle - “Lemon’s huge rough cousin.”
I like to add a piece of lemon or lime to my beverages or food from time to time. However, here stops my culinary imagination. So, the question about lemon’s cousin took me by surprise. But I have answered “Springboard, platform, synchronized” and “Conductors use this to direct orchestra,” not to be stopped by this Buzzword, right? If you are equally interested in solving this puzzle as I am, here is the answer:
To be honest, while I sometimes don’t like the hints in Buzzwords, this one was spot on. Citrons really are bigger and rougher lemons. They are part of the original citrus fruits, so they are ancestors of many citrus we eat today. Tasting them is a little bit like a travel in time.
Of course, we can’t be too happy, yet. It’s only the beginning of our Cookie Jam journey. We already can see “Naan, focaccia, pita, matzo, bhatura” around the corner. Of course, we will prepare a guide! Good luck.
