Respawn is Not Working on Titanfall 3

Contrary to reports from last February, Respawn Entertainment is not working on the next installment of Titanfall. The information was provided by the CEO of the company, Vince Zampella.

Titanfall was been put in the publisher's freezer for now.

Are you waiting for a sequel to Titanfall? If so, we don't have good news for you. In an interview with IGN, Vince Zampella - the head of Respawn Entertainment - informed that his company is not working on another production belonging to this franchise.

“There’s nothing currently in development. But it’s always there. You see the little bits of stuff coming back [through the lore in Apex Legends]. At some point, I would personally like to see some kind of resurrection there. We’ll see if I can make that happen," said Zampella.

The reports contradict the information from last February - everything seems to indicate that the title was being made, but was canceled. Perhaps the reason for this decision was the huge success of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which prompted the developer - and the owner of this company, publisher Electronic Arts - to quickly begin work on a sequel. The last (so far) game in the Titanfall series is Titanfall 2, released in 2016. The series has also received a spin-off in the form of Apex Legends.
