Rockstar is Looking for a Live Events Coordinator; Gamers See a Connection to GTA 6

GTA 6 could be announced during a live event in GTA Online. This has already been suggested in an earlier leak, and in recent days Rockstar Games has announced a recruitment for the position of a live event coordinator.

Some time ago, a list of alleged improvements, which will appear in the next-gen version of GTA V, announced on November 11, leaked on the web. You can see them on the screenshot below. In addition to new missions with strangers, improved vehicle physics, more traffic or rather unlikely adaptation of the game for VR the list also mentioned GTA 6. The official announcement of the title and the start of its marketing campaign will allegedly take place during a live event in GTA Online. This, in turn, is to be preceded by four updates for the online mode of GTA 5 (which will soon become a standalone production). You might say it's just another rumor. Maybe... but Rockstar Games website posted a new job offer - the company is looking for a live events coordinator.

Source: Reddit.

The community gathered around GTA 6 on Reddit saw this as a link to the information from the cited leak. However improbable this scenario seems, it must be admitted that such form of announcing new content for games or even entire titles is nothing new in the industry. The trend was started by the creators of Fortnite, and it was picked up by Activision Blizzard, who announced Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War during an event in Call of Duty: Warzone. Why wouldn't Rockstar go this route as well?

Especially since the aforementioned job ad puts a lot of emphasis on marketing issues. In the offer we can read that the potential candidate should be able to, among other things, create strategies for marketing campaigns. The latter are no longer needed in the case of GTA V or Red Dead Redemption II, and the community would probably go crazy if the devs' next game turned out to be something other than the new Grand Theft Auto.

And yes, I'll agree that this is a bit of wishful thinking on the part of fans of the series who eagerly await the announcement of the sixth installment. However, it would be nice to find out the first details about the new installment of the series - which will probably take us to Vice City modeled on Miami - while we are in Los Santos. Either way approach this information, like every rumor, with caution.
