Starfield is the newest hit of Bethesda Game Studios. It was well received by both fans and reviewers. The title is focused on exploration on starships and feet. Many players have problems with the second one, as they would like to walk in the game and don’t know how to do so. We will tell you how to manage it on PC (Keyboard) and Xbox (Controller). Read our guide to learn more.

How to walk in Starfield on PC (keyboard)

If you play on PC, and use your keyboard, walking is very simple. It is enough to press Caps Lock. It will allow you to toggle between running and walking. Click once to change modes. It is very useful if you want to immerse yourself into the world or follow an NPC. Remember that you can always change Bindings in the menu (Toggle Always-Run).

How to walk in Starfield on Xbox (controller)

To walk on the Xbox console, you have to use your left stick. It is enough to push it gently forward, to move slowly. Sadly, in the case of controller, there is not an option which would let you toggle running/walking all the time. It is inconvenient for many players, so there is a chance that it will be added in the future, if the demand will be big enough, but until then you have to endure.
