Valve has revealed the dates for the next nine sales on Steam. The company also announced a plan that includes changing the rules for discounts, which will enable developers and publishers to discount their games more often.
We got to know the dates of the next sales on Steam. They were shared in a message for developers, most likely to enable them to prepare for the sales planned for the next six months.
Some of the promotion names below are temporary and will likely change.

Valve has also announced a change in the rules for discounts. Currently, six weeks must pass between the end of one discount and the start of the next for a given game. As of March 28 this year, this period will be shortened to 28 days.
It's worth noting that the four major seasonal sales (Chinese New Year, summer, fall, and winter) will be excluded from these restrictions. In other words, developers and publishers will be able to discount their games as part of these promotions, even if 28 days have not yet passed since the previous price cut ended.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the Steam Lunar Sale 2022 will end tomorrow. As part of it, thousands of games were discounted. These offers will expire on February 3 at 10 am PT.
