Updating the launcher
The easiest way to fix this problem is to update the launcher of Tower of Fantasy. To do this, you need to launch the program and expand the menu located in the upper right corner. There you will find the "Check for update" option.
Launch in Windows 7 compatibility mode
The second method to solve the DX12 problem is to run Tower of Fantasy in Windows 7 compatibility mode. To do so, you must perform the following actions:
- Right-click on the Tower of Fantasy icon;
- Select "properties" (if you are using Windows 11, go to "show more options" first);
- Go to the "compatibility" tab;
- Check the option "run in compatibility mode with" and select Windows 7.
