Another tricky Buzzword in Cookie Jam. But don’t worry, the answer to “city considered holy to 3 major religions” is here.
Buzzwords in Cookie Jam are heating up again. We kicked things off with some classic food-themed hints like “unleavened flatbread from India,” “round white nuts associated with Hawaii, “Sicilian cookie made with pine nuts.” But then the focus shifted from delicious bites to broader topics, like the question “A. C. D3. E. K2. B12,” and now we’re on to “city considered holy to 3 major religions.” So if you still can’t guess this one, check the answer here.
Long Buzzwords are always tough to crack in Cookie Jam, and this one was no exception. But in the end, there was really only one nine-letter city that fit the hint, so there you have it:
Jerusalem is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea in the Middle East, in the region known as the Levant. It is one of the oldest cities in the world, with a history dating back thousands of years.
It’s considered the holiest city in Judaism, as it was the site of the First and Second Temples, central to Jewish worship. The Western Wall (or Wailing Wall), a remnant of the Second Temple, remains a sacred site for prayer.
The city is also sacred as the place where Jesus was crucified and resurrected. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to be the site of both the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus, is a key pilgrimage site for Christians.
Jerusalem is also the third holiest city in Islam after Mecca and Medina. Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which stands on the Temple Mount, known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif.
Now that we’ve cracked this one, it’s time to move on to the next Buzzwords of the week. And don’t worry – we have answers for those too: “White fat product,” “fish-shaped sweet filled treats,” “young, fresh & crunchy greens.” So don’t forget to check out our other Cookie Jam guides.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
