Resident Evil 2: Meet with the visitor (cutting tool) task Police station

The next part of Resident Evil 2's story still takes place on the Raccoon City police station. After finding the blue spades key and going back to the main hall, officer Marvin will show you that you have a visitor in the police station (Claire if you play as Leon; Leon if you play as Claire).

Reach the "waiting room" by going down the corridor on the upper floor.

Reach the second floor of the main hall, and head east to the waiting room. There, you will find another door that requires the blue key. Go through the room. Turn right in the corridor and reach the stairs at the end of it.

After the cut-scene, take the cutting tool lying on the barrel near the door (the ground floor). That door is locked with a chain - cut it with the newly acquired tool.

Interact with the door and select the cutting tool.

You are in the familiar corridor on the ground floor. Cut the chain locking the door in front of you - this door leads to the east office. There, you will find to key items:

The fuse is on the desk.

Insert the fuse into the fuse box near the door leading to the main hall.

A fuse - you have to insert it into the fuse box at the end of the corridor (the door you went through earlier is now closed - the fuse will fix that);

The round handle is on the desk in the smaller office.

The round handle - the item is on the desk inside the smaller office. You need this item in the later part of the game (when you are looking for medallions). You can now go back to the main hall. Prepare for another part of the game.
