Thief: Eyes on the Prize

Availability: You get the opportunity to start this mission after you have completed the fifth chapter of the game. You need to meet up with Basso at the Crippled Burrick tavern.

Your destination has been shown in the above screenshot - it is located in the Northern part of the South Quarter), in [South Quarter / Riverside - Canal]. Before you start the mission, make sure that Garret has the (Wirecutter), which you are going to need to gain access to the chamber with the collectible. Approach the destination from the West, walk around the opponent with a crossbow, who is busy patrolling one of the balconies. Force the window open and walk into the buildings [South Quarter / Riverside - Illyrian Traders].

You need to place the body on the pressure plate

Start by exploring the first room, where you will find Gold Coin - 1+1G and a Coin Purse - 6G. pick up the body and carry it over to the pressure plate near the window. This will result in opening the secret room. Explore that room, collect the Pen - 10G and use the Wirecutter on the box.

The telescope that you are looking for

You can now return to the room with the corpse and use the lockpicks to open the door that you have been ignoring so far. Leap to reach the rope and climb down. In a small room, you will find a Water Arrow in the crate. But the most important thing to find is the telescope (Telescope - 45+50G). At this point, this mission will end.
