On this page of our Alan Wake 2 guide, you can find a solution to the Circuit Board and Espresso Express carousel puzzle that you'll encounter in Coffee World in the Watery region. Unlocking the mission objective involving the Circuit Board

1. During the course of Return 3, Saga will receive an objective to perform an Overlap ritual in Coffee World in Watery region. This will require a nearby platform to be active.
2. One of the mandatory steps here is to bring the Circuit Board to the platform. From the traces obtained, you'll learn that the Circuit Board is somewhere in Espresso Express.

Locating the Circuit Board in Espresso Express

1. Espresso Express is located in Coffee World, found south from the platform. You can get near it from the northern side.

1. The carousel found here is turned off by default and when you approach it, you can see the box below with the Circuit Board - we have marked it in the screenshot.

How to reach Circuit Board box?

You'll need a fuse to complete this puzzle.

1. The fuse is in the Kalevala Knights Workshop. This item is on the table in the break room - the picture shows it.

1. Go to Espresso Express and find the fusebox from the screenshot. Install the fuse - it will restore power to the carousel.

1. Head up and press the button start the ride.
2. You have to stop the carousel at the correct moment . Wait until a gap (missing carousel carriage) appears in front of Saga and quickly press the button. After the carousel stops , you should see an opening in front of you (screenshot above). If the button was pressed at the wrong moment, restart the carousel and stop it once more.

1. Jump down and go through a small tunnel. It will lead Saga to the place in the screenshot where you can remove the Circuit Board.

Using Circuit Board on the platform

1. The carousel will restart, so you cannot return the same way. There is a second tunnel near where you are and it leads outside.
2. Return to the platform. You can place the Circuit Board in the side panel shown in the screenshot. This is one of several actions required to complete the main puzzle with the platform.

Problems and bugs related to the Circuit Board

The described puzzle may get bugged.

If Saga doesn't want to place the Circuit Board in the platform slot, make sure you have found all the clues. In particular:

1. check all elements of the float (example in picture 1);
2. check the table next to the float - there is a document with a list of necessary items and their locations (picture 2).

Additionally, transfer all clues to the Case Board in Saga's Mind Place.

1. If Saga refuses to drop down to the lower Espresso Express area, make sure you have stopped the carousel correctly after pressing the button.
2. Espresso Express must stop at the break between the wagons. Only then, after approaching the edge, the interaction icon marked in the image will appear, symbolizing that you can jump down.

A universal solution may also be to load one of the older saves. Don't choose the last checkpoint, but for example a manual save before starting to solve the puzzle with the platform.
