Confrontation in the morgue

1. The first encounter with the monster takes place while performing an autopsy in the Autopsy room, situated in the morgue located in the basement of the sheriff's office in Bright Falls.
2. Follow the obligatory steps until you get the manuscript page out of the dead man's chest. The corpse will come back to life and Saga will find herself in mortal danger.

How to avoid the monster?

1. Position yourself quickly in the lighted part of the room. Saga will be safe in this place. She will regain her vitality and cannot be detected or attacked by the monster.

1. Stay in this place and wait until the monster moves to the side room (as shown in the picture above).

Finding and using a pistol

1. Take out your flashlight and run to the corridor, through which you previously reached the morgue.
2. Saga's pistol is on the floor and you need to pick it up.

1. Turn around and prepare for the arrival of the monster. Shoot the opponent several times (preferably in the head), and he'll disappear, ensuring your survival in the first confrontation.
