In Alan Wake 2, the main characters must defeat bosses in specific places in the story. On this page of the guide you will find a list of all story bosses, the elimination of which is mandatory to complete the main storyline.
All bosses from the main story
- Nightingale - this is the boss you must defeat as Saga after going through the Overlap in Cauldron Lake.
- Dark Presence - this is a shorter encounter in which Alan must escape from an indestructible creature in the subway tunnels.
- Mulligan and Thornton - they are a pair of bosses and sheriff's former deputies that Saga has to face in Overlap at Watery.
- Cynthia - you must face this boss as Saga. Cynthia is hiding in Overlap at the Wellness Center.
- Scratch - Saga fights the dark version of Alan Wake for the first time in the parking lot of the sheriff's office in Return 6.
- Final boss - On this page we have included a description of the fight with the final boss of the game. Saga fights at the Cauldron Lake Shore in Return 7.
In certain places in the game you can also encounter mini-bosses, e.g. the enemy with a large hammer from the Kalevala Knights Workshop. Fighting them is just slightly harder than defeating normal Taken. These are not elaborate duels, as is the case with bosses from the main story.
