Alan Wake 2: Door code to Oceanview Hotel puzzle
In Initation 5 of the Alan Wake 2 game, you will encounter a problem with the locked door of the Oceanview Hotel. Our guide tells you how to figure out the code to open the hotel entrance while playing as Alan.
One of the mandatory puzzles in Alan Wake 2 is the one involving learning the combination for the entrance door of Oceanview Hotel, which will take place in Alan's story during Initiation 5. On this page we show where to find the door combination and fortunately, you won't have to look far to get it.
Reaching the entrance door of Oceanview Hotel
- During the course of Initiation 5 as Alan Wake, you'll reach the entrance to Oceanview Hotel. This takes place when attempting to reach the meeting place with the mysterious stranger from the phone conversations.
- The entrance door to the hotel is locked by default. To unlock the door, you'll need to input a correct 4-digit combination.
Where to find the door combination?
- To the right from the hotel entrance, there is the Mirror Peak Bar. Approach the bar and place yourself in the area from the screenshot.
- A solid white interaction icon will appear and this means that here you can use the Angel Lamp.
- Activating the lamp will change the layout of the bar and unlock the area behind the counter.
- Take a look at the drink card. Among them is the Oceanview Cocktail .
- The price for the drink - 2550 - is also the door combination. Go back to the hotel entrance and input this as code.
