On this Assassin's Creed Valhalla page, you will learn how to turn on the Close Camera and how it differs from the classic behind-the-back view.
Comparison
As you can see in the image above, when Eivor moves, the camera is much closer to them, slightly behind the right shoulder. The Close Camera automatically changes to a classic behind-the-back view when a fight starts
How to turn it on?
You can enable the Close Camera at any time in the game options - in the Gameplay tab. The option is marked in the image above.
