Assassin's Creed Valhalla: On what order explore regions / territories?
This page of the guide to AC Valhalla you will find information on what order to explore the regions available in the game. You will learn what levels of experience are required in certain parts of the map and when it is worth reaching them.
On this guide page, you will find the recommended order of exploring the regions in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Using the list below will reduce the risk of entering a region that is too challenging for Eivor.

- Recommended order of visiting regions
- What power level should I have to see the game's finale?
Regions exploration order - preliminary information

Each region in the game is described by the suggested power. This mechanism is described in more detail on a separate page – Suggested power. In short, try to travel through territories whose suggested power level is close to or only slightly higher than Eivor's current one. The suggested power level of a region shouldn't be higher than 30 points of Eivor's current level.
You can increase your hero's power by leveling up and unlocking new skills from the skill tree. If you want to start exploring more difficult regions faster, focus on activities that reward you with large amounts of XP - main quests, events on the world map, and look for bigger secrets. You can find more tips on how to gain experience points on Gaining XP faster page.
Recommended order of visiting regions
Here is the suggested order of exploring the regions:
- Norway - Rygjafylke - This is a "starting" region and there is no suggested power. Try to explore it as much as possible before going to England.
- Do not explore Horadfylke in Norway yet. It has a very high suggested power (280). Return to this region after making enough progress.
- England - Mercia - Ledecestrescire - suggested power is 20
- England - Mercia - Grantebridgescire - suggested power is 20
- England - Eastern England - suggested power is 55
- England - Mercia - Oxenefordscire - suggested power is 90
- England - Mercia - Lunden - suggested power is 90
- Asgard - suggested power is 90 - you can unlock access to Asgard by building the Seer's Hut in the settlement
- England - Mercia - Sciropescire - suggested power is 130
- England - Wessex - Cent - suggested power is 130
- England - Mercia - Lincolnscire - suggested power is 160
- England - Wessex - Suthsexe - suggested power is 160
- England - Wessex - Essexe - suggested power is 160
- England - Northumbria - Eurvicscire - suggested power is 190
- England - Northumbria - Jorvik - suggested power is 190
- England - Mercia - Glowecestrescire - suggested power is 220
- England - Northumbria - Snothighamscire - suggested power is 250
- England - Wessex - Wincestre - suggested power is 250
- Norway - Hordafylke - suggested power is 280 - while doing the saga in this region, you will complete the final part of Sigurd's and Eivor's campaign
- England - Wessex - Hamtunscire - suggested power is 340
There is also a separate region called Vinland. However, due to unusual gameplay rules (more about them on a separate page), it has no recommended power and can be visited at any point during the campaign.
What power level should I have to see the game's finale?

The final events of Sigurd's and Eivor's storyline take place in Hordafylke. This is the second region in Norway and its suggested power level is 280 points. You don't have to wait until Eivor reaches this level, although we don't recommend visiting Hordafylke until you have reached at least 250 power.
In theory, completing all the main quests in Hordafylke doesn't end the adventure yet. Even though you go back to Anglia. You can do the Hamtunscire saga as part of the unofficial "epilogue". Unfortunately, you may have to grind a little bit to be strong enough for this region. Its suggested power level is 340. However, as it was with Hordafylke, you can try doing new quests when you get close to the suggested level – you will need to have 310 power or more.
