How to change the time of day?
The basic way to change the time of day in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is to meditate. You can start the meditation at most moments of the game - some exceptions are being in combat or in duration of an important mission. The meditation option is available in the additional action menu, which you can open using the buttons:

It is worth adding that you cannot choose how many hours Eivor will meditate. With meditation, you can switch between day and night.
An additional way to change the time of day in the game is to use the bed in Eivor's house in the settlement. However, this works just like meditation.
