Two-dimensional platformer developed by the team at Way Forward Technologies. The game is another entry in a series that originally launched in 2002 on Game Boy Color. The story of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero takes place in fairy tale-like land, inspired by the One Thousand and One Nights. A half-genie, half-human heroine takes off to a different dimension to fight against a recklessly freed ancient evil. Gameplay is based on the Castlevania and Metroid series, so it comes down to exploration, solving puzzles and fighting enemies, including challenging bosses. Heroine's main weapons are her incredibly strong hair and the ability to change into magical beasts by performing certain dancing moves. As we progress our protagonist gathers experience points, which she uses to unlock more skills – namely, changing into new beasts.

The story of the game takes place in Sime Gen, a science-fiction universe depicted in the novels of Jacqueline Lichtenberg, showing a future world where humanity has split into two different, but co-dependent species. During the gameplay, we assume control of the last living crew member of Unity One, a vessel sent with a mission to investigate the far reaches of the galaxy. The mission ended with the discovery of an alien race that may become a threat to the whole system. The player can choose between two species, and represent one of four professions. Ambrov X is an action RPG – the gameplay focuses on completing subsequent quests and features arcade combat. Emphasis was placed on choice making and branching plot lines, as well as the unique dialogue system which bases each dialogue option on one of four paradigms.

A science fiction survival sandbox game that combines arcade elements with numerous logic puzzles. It was developed by Teotl, a Swedish studio known for such productions as Unmechanical or The Ball. The story of The Souls Project is set in the world of the latter game, although the action takes place in the distant future where the Earth is at the verge of an ecological disaster. In the game, we assume the role of a space colonist, a member of an expedition to find new inhabitable worlds. However, the entire crew dies in a crash, and we find ourselves completely alone on an unknown planet. The gameplay combines typical sandbox survival simulator elements - such as exploration and the necessity of satisfying the character's basic needs — with an extensive story and logical challenges that require smart environment manipulation.

Dissatisfied with the fact that some of the dead have to embark on a four-year journey to reach the afterlife, our hero receives a lead that turns him onto a huge bribery scandal. Manny has to follow the other souls and reach the afterlife on foot in order to uncover the mystery. Visually, the game maintains the atmosphere and the characteristic animation style seen in the original game.

A brutal action game by Grasshopper Manufacture, the creators of such productions as Killer7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw, and the Shadows of the Damned. Initially, the project was announced under the name of Lily Bergamo but in time changed its formula and was renamed to Let it Die. It is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and uses the free-to-play business model. The player assumes the role of a warrior who takes part in ruthless street fights against characters controlled by the AI or by other players. In combat, we use various weapons that range from saws, batons, machetes, and crossbows, to pistols and machine guns. The character we create has but his bare fists, but as we progress, we can acquire clothes and weapons. The process can be sped up with optional micropayments. The attack animations in Let it Die are grotesquely brutal and every blow is accompanied by a huge blood splash.

An independent cRPG featuring a turn-based combat system and easily distinguished by its colorful visuals and a fairytale atmosphere. The game was released in three episodes. The player is taken to a fantasy world - the planet Umbra, where a catastrophe occurred in the wake of which the planet ceased to spin. Thus one part of the globe is being constantly scorched by sunlight, while the other remains frozen. The player assumes the role of a young treasure hunter who gathers their team during his journeys and tries to solve the mystery behind the cataclysm. The other playable character here is a young scout - the player can switch between the two characters freely. Traveling across Umbra takes place on the world map; when the player encounters enemies, a separate tactical map is loaded. Making a good use of the characters' abilities is the key to success in turn-based fights. What's more, the player manages their base - where they can develop the characters, both refill and upgrade their equipment, as well as cultivate a magical garden.

Two factions face each other in the game – the Human Order that was rebuilt after the events shown in the second game and the Unchained, faction that consists of various monsters. Two 5-person teams fight against each other and the gameplay focuses on defending the base and attacking enemy stronghold. Each character has unique abilities that allow him for example to build and upgrade various traps and obstacles or sabotage enemy structures. Units and equipment are used by selecting cards obtained during battles.

An independent action-adventure game developed by Yanim Studio. We assume the role of Divine, a goddess tormented by an unknown malicious entity. To get to the bottom of the problem, the heroine embarks to explore the Planet, a living being representing her psyche. This unusual world is divided into two zones: neutral, consisting of the planet’s surface, and dark, known as the underworld, guarded by terrifying bosses. Fortunately, Divine is a powerful fighter with access to numerous abilities, enabling her to stay hidden from the Planet, as well as to defend herself in case of detection. Moreover, she can take on two forms: Nar (Rage), a battle form based on the fire element, and Son (Fear), a more restrained yet powerful personality that allows silent exploration. Red Goddess: Inner World employs colorful and detailed 2.5D graphics. The game was created thanks to a crowdfunding campaign that took place on Kickstarter, a popular crowdfunding network.

The story of Never Alone is based on Inuit beliefs, with players taking control of a young girl from the Inupiaq tribe who sets on a dangerous journey with her white fox to save her people and stop the arrival of the eternal blizzard. During her adventure, she will meet many creatures from Inuit legends, such as Sky People, Rolling Heads or Blizzard Man. Never Alone presents its world from the side perspective, as we traverse vast levels, avoid traps, fight enemies and solve puzzles. The single player campaign lets us switch between the girl and the fox, both of which have unique abilities that are necessary to progress; however, control is split between two players in the cooperation mode. Never Alone features good-looking three-dimensional visuals accompanied by a soundtrack based on traditional Inuit music. Interestingly, the narrator speaks in Inuit language and the dialogue is translated into English through subtitles.

The player is taken to the year 2088, where the world has developed substantially and space flights have become available for everyone. The player takes on the role of Amy Ferrier - a woman who picked up a job at a space station. On her arrival however, it turns out that her new workplace is abandoned and her only contact is the station's on-board computer - ODIN. The AI does not reveal anything about what happened at the station and the protagonist tries to solve the mystery on her own. For the most part, the player explores the station and discovers various secrets that slowly build up a larger picture. Because the game is set in space, the player not only walks here, but also moves up and down in zero-gravity areas. Consequently, one has to look around carefully in search for different valuables or clues.

A free-to-play team online shooter that employs an unusual gameplay premise: 5 vs 5 vs 2. The game was developed by the few dozen members comprising the team at Sony San Diego. The action of Kill Strain takes place on the icy tundra where various factions fight for valuable energy sources. Three rivaling teams face each other, two of which are five-member mercenary groups, while the third one is a duo of mutants with incredible abilities. The presence of three teams on the battlefield, all having different objectives and skills, makes the gameplay multifaceted and unpredictable. You never know if the enemy will join forces with the mutants to wipe out the competition. Another unusual gameplay element of Kill Strain is the aerial camera, similar to MOBA productions. On the other hand, the visuals present quality equal to the best TPP productions.

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job. In the game, we assume the role of the Postal Dude who hits the streets with an intent of murdering anyone who happens to stand, walk, or sit in his way. The title offers several various levels, in which the innocent civilians will be slaughtered with a vast arsenal of weapons of different caliber and purpose. The new version is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which translates into incomparably better graphics, prettier locations, and more detailed character models. It also offers a cooperation mode. Despite the changes to the technical side of the game, the developers managed to preserve the specific atmosphere of the original.

A third person action adventure game that combines a post-apocalyptic setting with fantasy elements. The game was created by Uppercut Games, a developer studio founded by industry veterans who previously worked on such classics as Fallout Tactics and the BioShock franchise. You take on the role of a young girl, who brings her wounded brother into a submerged city. Gameplay is based on exploration (on foot or by boat) in search of any items that could give the boy some relief. Instead of traditional puzzles, you have to figure out how to reach seemingly inaccessible places. While playing you also find upgrades for your boat, as well as pictograph that reveal the story of both the siblings and the mysterious, submerged metropolis. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4.

The action of Zheros is set in a science fiction universe, where we play the part of one of the two superheroes who face a mad scientist called Dr. Vendetta, whose plan involves mutating all living beings and their subjugation to his authority. During the game we traverse fully three-dimensional locations, moving to the right side of the screen – just like in classic beat'em up productions. In combat we take advantage of a rich set of moves and combos, and in the most difficult moments we can rely on powerful robots. In between the missions, we spend the reputation points we gained in-game to improve the skills of our superhero. Game is designed to be played alone or in local co-op.

A spin-off of the bestselling series The Sims. It is available as a free-to-play title. The Sims FreePlay was developed by Firemonkeys, a studio that specializes in mobile games. Similarly as in the main installments of the series, the main objective is to control the life of virtual characters and decide what they will do, where they will live and who will they befriend. The gameplay is based on sandbox rules, allowing the player to freely control the fate of his Sims – he can send them to work, take them to interesting places in the city, help them make friends and even make them marry someone and give birth to children. In addition to controlling the life of the Sims, the player can design their house or take care of their garden. The game is played in real-time and the only limitation of freedom is time needed to complete various actions – however, it can be shortened by using the microtransactions. Real currency can be also used for buying exclusive items and decorations.

At first, Anomaly: Warzone Earth HD (later released on personal computers as Anomaly: Warzone Earth Mobile Campaign) was a mobile version of the debut game developed by 11bit studio, belonging to the genre of the so-called inverted tower defense. The story of the game takes place in the universe known from the original game, in the not too distant future. It picks up the plot started in the previous game. The game mechanics remain unchanged and combines elements of an action game with an RTS. The main task of the player is to safely break through the enemy territory. The player has access to a brand new story campaign encompassing 15 missions. The missions take place on brand new maps – changed to fit the new storyline and the unique traits of a mobile platform. The main difference in comparison to the original game is the absence of commanders on the battlefield – we now give orders to the squad directly.
