An arcade first-person rail shooter and a spin-off installment of the bestselling survival horror series by Visceral Games, Dead Space. The game’s plot is a sort of a prequel to the events presented in the original Dead Space and explains the reasons why its protagonist, Isaac Clarke, went to USG Ishimura which was infected by a mysterious alien race, the Necromorph. Dead Space: Extraction is focused on the colonists of Aegis VII, a distant mining colony, and their fight against a deadly infection. In contrast to the game’s predecessor, the action is viewed from the first-person perspective, and the gameplay is significantly more dynamic and boils down to exploring subsequent locations, efficiently eliminating all encountered mutants. The title is designed to utilize the capabilities of such controllers as WiiRemote and PlayStation Move.

The fourth expansion for the popular game The Sims 2, in which you control the daily lives of player-created characters. As the title suggests, the expansion adds various pets to the game: from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, fish, hamsters and birds. You can design your pets just like your human Sims. They can also wear many accessories, such as scarves and collars. You have to remember, however, that the pets don't live forever and you have to take care of their basic needs, such as hunger and the need to relieve themselves. Dogs and cats in particular require quite a lot of entertainment, care, and training. The Sims 2: Pets includes a reward and punishment system, which allows you to better train your animal companion — otherwise, you risk mischief and collateral damage. Curiously, the well-cared-for pets can become show-business stars, which earns you a monthly reward.

An action-adventure game with RPG features. It is based on Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Except for the title and the presence of some common motives (most of all the Black Pearl ship), the game has little in common with the movie. It was at first developed as sequel to Sea Dogs, another similar game created by studio Akella, but the popularity of the movie caused the change of the title. In the game the player assumes the role of an independent ship captain who is caught in the middle of a conflict between 17th century sea empires: England and France. The protagonist must gather a crew and complete a series of mission for the selected empire. As time passes, the protagonist gathers experience, becomes a better captain and warrior. Sea battles, including artillery combat, boarding, and sword fighting are an important part of the game.

However, the protagonist also has to find the source of the conflict and put an end to it. The player has 15 weapons at their disposal in this game - both new ones and some which appeared first in the original Unreal. 24 new kinds of enemies were added in the second installment.
