A sequel to the 2001 strategy game Europa Universalis II, which focused on a 400 years period between 1419 and 1820. Crusader Kings can be considered a prologue of the previous standalone installment of the franchise, taking place earlier and allowing us to lead the European nations in the years 1066-1419. Like its predecessor, Crusader Kings is a faithful simulation of the period, taking into account diplomatic, social, military, religious and feudal relations. The greatest difference between the two games is the fact that Crusader Kings doesn't focus solely on the development of your nation, but building the prestige and influence of your dynasty. A huge innovation is the new combat system, faithfully recreating the differences in the offensive capabilities of the individual nation's units.

The player can lead any country, including the biggest superpowers of the era, such as Germany, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. Hearts of Iron 2 offers great freedom in preparations for the outbreak of the World War II. The general premise of the gameplay recreates the solutions of the game's predecessor, but the sequel features many novelties, including additional diplomatic and political options (for example, you can check what would happen if Marxist ideas were introduced in Germany), an open negotiation system, trade agreements, or experience acquisition for military units. Historical scenarios that let us see the conflict through the eyes of a famous commander were also enhanced.

In Trespasser, we assume the role of a young woman by the name of Anne, who ends up on an island full of dinosaurs as a result of an airplane crash. Looking for means of transportation that would allow her to go back to safety, the protagonist is forced to face many species of prehistoric reptiles, such as Triceratops, Velociraptor and the famous T-Rex. While fighting the beasts, we can make use of a weapon arsenal consisting of several kinds of pistols, a shotgun and a machine gun; should we run into a larger group of dinosaurs, however, the best course of action is to flee. The game features high-quality graphics (especially the dinosaur models), realistic physics engine and suggestive gameplay atmosphere.

Another expansion pack (after Desert of Flames) for the second installment in the EverQuest series which dates back to 1999. Since the birth of this MMORPG franchise, it has been developed by Daybreak Game Company. Kingdom of Sky takes the players to the Overrealm, which is a land located over the Norrath continent. The place is governed by various flying beings led by dragons trying to execute their plan of destroying the world beneath them. In order to prevent this from happening, the players have to complete a series of story quests, as well as countless side missions. When completing those, the players' virtual avatars will be visiting ten new locations, among which one will find both islands floating in the sky and vast underground areas. Kingdom of Sky also brings hundreds of new items, abilities and spells, as well as 25 kinds of completely new enemy types. Apart from that, the creators decided to raise level cap to 70; guilds on the other hand, can now reach level 50 at maximum. As a reward for heroic deeds, one's character is capable of becoming an important figure in the history of the EverQuest universe.

A fantasy turn-based strategy game by Ino-Co and a sequel to Fantasy Wars. Elven Legacy is set in the same world as its predecessor — the world, in which elves are trying to restore the former glory of their race. However, someone is trying to gain access to an ancient magic, their Great Tree, which grants the ability of reincarnation. The game features two independent campaigns, in which you can play as either the leader of the army of elves or the army of men, and a range of bonus missions, in which you can also lead e.g. the orcish forces. Compared to the first installment, the gameplay mechanics have stayed mostly the same. Elven Legacy, however, features new characters, unique abilities, spells, battle units, and artifacts. The AI algorithms have been upgraded and new available tactics have been added.
