An unusual survival horror game created by Frederick Raynal and Gloomywood - a French studio. The game offers pixel-art visuals and is played from the classic top-down view. The player takes on the role of a criminologist by the name of Smith, whose wife got murdered and his children were kidnapped by unknown assailants. Despite the fact that 17 years have passed since then, the protagonist still searches for his children and those who killed his beloved woman - Smith tracks down subsequent serial killers who target juvenile victims. The player explores numerous dark locations and gathers various items that help either to avoid threats or to deal with them. However, the game focuses on saving those who have become targets, instead of punishing the psychopaths. Once the protagonist stumbles on innocents, they join Smith and collectively create a line of original figures following the protagonist. The children can be controlled by issuing simple commands. The player's actions get rewarded with bonus points when they manage to save a large number of children.

The game also has an advanced editor that allows the players to create their own tracks, locomotives and missions. The greatest novelty introduced in this installment is the TS Academy, a tutorial that helps all the novice players in learning the basic controls. The history told in those episodes takes place over a span of one hundred years in Washington state, a place filled with forests and mountains, a location that resembles a little the cult TV show Twin Peaks. In terms of gameplay mechanics, What Remains of Edith Finch is your typical first-person adventure game. The climate and gameplay mechanics change depending on which family member we are currently controlling. What connects every story told in the game is the fact that in each and every one of them our protagonist dies. Another common ground between them is the titular character of Edith, who tries to discover her family's dark secret and find out why she is the only surviving member.

Plot of Prince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flame continues the story of the first part of the franchise. Happiness of the Prince of Persia and the daughter of the Sultan is interrupted by the vengeance of Vizier Jaffar. With the help of magic he sways all guards of the kingdom to capture Prince and steals his position, forcing him to flee through several locations, including not only palace dungeons, but also open spaces. Gameplay itself does not differ significantly from mechanics known from the original, just as in the Prince of Persia Classic. However, the title features modernized, completely redesigned visuals and a whole range of improvements concerning mechanics and level design. Developers deleted several scenes from the base game, introducing brand new ones in their place.

The Quest Keeper is a free-to-play dungeon crawler developed by the creators of the grotesque arcade game Jungle Moose. In The Quest Keeper we play as an adventurer who decides to complete ten legendary quests. The game is visibly inspired by Crossy Road, not only in terms of voxel-based visuals and isometric perspective, but also when it comes to gameplay mechanics. Our character moves automatically, but unlike in Crossy Road, we move around the entire locations in the direction chosen by the player. Gameplay focuses on map exploration and avoidance of the traps located there. There are many types of traps we will encounter: drops and trapdoors, hordes of spiders, flying axes, blades and spikes erupting from the ground, and skeletons with bows. The extent of obstacles we will have to fave depends on the chosen map and on how far we managed to go. It is important to make sure we get to treasure chests. Gold which we get from them we can use to buy better equipment and special items that will make our adventures a bit easier.

The complete edition of Sniper Elite III: Africa – another installment of the popular stealth/shooter series developed by Rebellion. In the game, one assumes the role of Karl Fishbourne, a sharpshooter sent to the African front where he has to face elite Afrika Korps units supported by Tiger tanks, which spread terror among the Allied forces. The gameplay mechanics remain unaltered, however that does not mean players cannot experience some novelties implemented herein, honorable mentions being significantly larger maps with non-linear structure and even more elaborate X-Ray camera, which is a kind of Sniper Elite series’ trademark. Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition, apart from the base game, includes 9 add-ons released after the base game, comprising 3 story-based expansions and 6 weapon packs. Additionally, new maps have been added to the multiplayer, along with a new co-op mission and 2 game modes, namely Capture the Flag and Shooting Range.
