The first DLC for Borderlands, a successful action game that combines shooter with RPG elements. It was developed by Gearbox Software. Similarly to the vanilla version, the action of The Zombie Island Of Dr. Ned takes place on the post-apocalyptic planet of Pandora, although in a completely new location: the town of Jakobs Cove, the inhabitants of which were accidentally transformed into bloodthirsty zombies by the mad doctor Ned. The player’s task is to restore normality, which is a perfect excuse for facing hordes of the living dead. There are many kinds of these—they can run, crawl, jump, spit acid, or detonate their body parts. Among them, there are also new powerful bosses. To defeat them, we’ll make use of new weapons and unique items. The Zombie Island Of Dr. Ned offers 6 to 10 hours of gameplay. The expansion can be started by a character on level 10 at least. Compared to the basic version of the game, the production has an even larger dose of dark humor, with the locations being darker as well.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Commander's Challenge is a spin-off to the popular strategy game series C&C: Red Alert, developed for console players exclusively. Created by Electronic Arts, the game is actually a slightly cut version of the Uprising expansion, available to the owners of PCs some couple of months earlier. There is no regular story campaign in this game, instead, the main focus is the eponymous Challenge Mode. After choosing one of the three factions, the players take part in over 50 diverse challenges of varying difficulty level. The mechanics are generally based on tried solutions, but have been a bit simplified and adjusted to the capabilities of the consoles. In subsequent missions the players develop their base, gather resources, and fight in battles, but the array of additional activities is pretty big, and requires the player to employ different strategies. Along with the progress in the game, players unlock access to new challenges, units and technology.

The game takes place in a classic fantasy world, where the players create their own decks and take part in card duels. The combat system is based on the "rock-paper-scissors" rules, with fire, water, and nature replacing the hand gestures. Combat is also spiced up with special combat abilities and the Risk mechanics: each cards has its own Risk value, and if a given card looses the elemental duel, its Risk value is deducted from its owner's health. A continuation of a wacky 2D platform shooter, which in terms of mechanics resembles classic games such as Contra and the iconic Metal Slug series. Developed by OrangePixel, the game delivers even more chaos caused by countless bullets, enemies, and explosions making it impossible for a player to calmly analyze the situation on the screen. Luckily, throughout consecutive stages, there are numerous first-aid kits, which are able of healing even a nearly dead hero. Completing the main campaign is not very problematic, even though it has been divided into 56 separate levels. A much bigger challenge is posed by the Arcade mode, in which the player (with only one life) is tasked with covering the longest distance possible. The game features a style typical for other games developed by OrangePixel – simple, 2D visuals are not too elaborate, however, because of the dynamic gameplay, the player does not have much time to notice that.

Their task is to secure the expansion of the metropolis and the happiness of its inhabitants while also maintaining the budget. During the game the player is raising new buildings, creating power lines and collecting taxes. The gameplay mechanics are slightly different as building each house requires delivering enough materials produced by factories and commercial buildings. Each decision must be taken with the budget and happiness in mind, and each wrong action can have bad consequences to the whole agglomeration. Additionally, the game is a subject to typical limitations of the free-to-play model – each construction and production process requires the player to wait a specific amount of time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops features a voice chat option to make the communication between the players easier, and a system of microtransactions, which allows the players to purchase equipment and quick revive packs.

Ziggurat is a dungeon crawler with roguelike and action game elements developed by Milkstone. We play as a neophyte wizard who enters the titular ziggurat in order to prove his worth and earn the right to be called a powerful sorcerer. We will have to explore the building's many rooms, where we will encounter all kinds of enemies and traps. Our hero uses three types of magic: blue, orange, and green. Each of them is represented by spell books, staves, and objects we can simply throw. Each type of magic has its own energy bar which we can restore only by defeating enemies that use that exact type of magic. Like in many roguelike games, death is permanent in Ziggurat. However, when we start all over again, we get all the bonuses we've unlocked in our previous playthrough. There are twelve other playable characters to unlock, i.e. Shaman, Alchemist, Acrobat, Bard, or Vampire. The game features high-quality visuals. The levels we explore in Ziggurat are generated procedurally, making each playthrough a completely unique experience.
