A first-person shooter developed with VR headsets in mind. John Wick Chronicles is based on an American action movie from 2014. The virtual adaptation of Chad Stahelski’s and David Leitch’s film was published by Starbreeze AB, the team known for such titles as The Darkness, The Chronicles of Riddick, and Payday. The protagonist is a “retired” murderer for hire, John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves in the movie. A Russian Mafioso messes with the hero and deprives him of the last reminder of his deceased wife. Wick embarks on a merciless vendetta during which blood of criminals flows like a river. While playing, we traverse various locations, interact with characters, and, first and foremost, take part in dynamic shootouts where our survival depends on our ability to avoid enemy fire and use cover. John Wick Chronicles requires a VR headset to work and supports most of the popular devices of this type.

The third installment in a series of popular turn-based strategies enriched with RPG elements. The franchise has been developed by Tortuga Team - an independent Russian studio. This time, the player takes on the role of Captain Jim, whose goal is to find an ancient treasure. Making this happen often gets interrupted by other pirates the protagonist has to deal with, as well as sea monsters and hordes of undead. A story campaign is at the core of the game and the player is required to explore the game world, complete various story-based missions and side quests, recruit crew-members and fight the enemies encountered. In comparison to the previous installments, Braveland Pirate introduces an important change in the mechanics - the protagonist now takes part in fights directly, joining his team of companions having different weapons and abilities. Significantly, the range of combat abilities available gets wider alongside player progression; as for the battles as such, those take place both in at sea and on land. Changing the setting did not influence the art style of the visuals however - these are still both cartoonish and eye-pleasing.

A DLC, created by Skybox Labs in cooperation with Forgotten Empires studios, to Age of Mythology: Extended Edition – a remastered version of the classic RTS game from Ensemble Studios. The expansion, named Tale of the Dragon, doesn’t change much in basic game mechanics, which remain the quintessence of real-time strategy with a complex economic aspect. The biggest novelty is the introduction of a new playable faction, China, and the story based on the fairly obscure, but very unique mythology of Middle Kingdom. Aside from the basic units previously available in the game, the new faction received their own unique soldiers, many of which are mythical units with incredible abilities. Furthermore, the developers opted for supplementation of the basic game content, providing additional units for each army.

A sequel to the 2013 survival horror game How to Survive. The game, developed by Eko Software, is set in New Orleans, where the virus known from the first installment has turned people into zombies. The survivors have to fight for their lives and form teams in order to search for water, shelter, and useful items. The mechanics remained mostly the same, and the game places emphasis on the crafting system and character skill trees. How to Survive 2 utilizes an isometric view, and a huge part of the gameplay is once again fighting with zombies with the use of various weapons, including handmade ones, crafted from the elements you find in the game. Compared to the original, the game features as expanded multiplayer mode, allowing for camps consisting of up to 16 players, and the co-op mode for up to 4 players.

A turn-based science fiction strategy game developed by Choice Provisions studio. The game tells a story of the first manned mission to Mars, where humanity hopes to find the key to saving their civilization from extinction. A few days after the launch, the spaceship gets damaged and the crew’s moods begin to darken. To make things worse, the crew receives a signal indicating that they might not be the first people sent to this planet. We are presented with a ship comprising of many modules built for different purposes. Your crew of four needs to face randomly generated problems, such as technical defects, micrometeoroid storms etc. The fact that you have to skilfully manage your resources makes the game more difficult. Furthermore, you have to keep in mind that each event happening aboard the ship affects the astronauts’ psyche and behavior.

Hyper Void is an arcade shoot’em up game inspired by the classics like Gradius, Salamander, Nemesis, Xeon 2: Megablast and Tempest. The game was developed by two brothers from the independent studio IN|Framez and is their first big production. We play as a spaceship pilot who travels through subspace tunnels. Our ship, which constantly moves forward, is presented from a third-person perspective. Controls are limited to steering right or left as we face numerous enemies. HyperVoid offers 29 playable levels, half of which ends with difficult boss fights. Our enemies’ formations, and the overall design of levels, are generated procedurally, making each playthrough a unique and challenging experience.

Compared to the original flash version, new edition offers a bigger and more developed world. New methods of defense were introduced, as well as randomly generated challenges, awaiting in nearby forests. The game also contains a dynamic weather system, and fire mechanics – both these elements can have a positive, as well as negative impact on our kingdom. As one of the mainstays of the game, the title reprises pixel-art visuals, and complete lack of any user interface.

Legions of Steel is set in the far future, in which the allied forces of The League of Aliens and the United Nations of Earth face rebellious robots. Although the battles go on across almost all of the universe, the most important front is an underground tunnel network, where the enemy's machine-building conveyors are located. Legions of Steel features two independent story campaigns, which you can play in the single player mode or the multiplayer mode. Each of the sides in the war has different units, which in turn have unique characteristics, weapons, and combat abilities. The gameplay is turn-based and utilizes a classic bird's eye view, which gives it an oldschool feel. The visuals of Legions of Steel are based on the original board game art with 3D models. You can play the game on your own or with a fellow player in the hot-seat or asynchronous PBEM++ mode.

A cartoonish hack’n’slash designed for mobile platforms. The developer behind Slashy Hero is The Gentlebros, a studio founded by former employees of Koei Tecmo (Dynasty Warriors, Fatal Frame, Dead or Alive). Slashy Hero lets you assume the role of a cute little hero, who has to rake a haunted house in search for candies that were stolen by a villain just before Halloween. Using a wooden sword (or another weapon) the hero fights with ghosts encountered in the house. Slashy Hero features swipe-based combat system – with their finger the player draws lines on the screen, choosing a direction for the hero who automatically slashes enemies on the way. Employing isometric perspective, the gameplay mainly boils down to exploration of game levels in search of sweets as well as eliminating enemies found there. In contrast to what the sugary visuals may suggest, Slashy Hero is a difficult game which isn't intended for casual gamers. Upon death you can respawn in the same place and with the same gear, but you need to pay for that with special gems, which can be bought with real money.

A steampunk-influenced 2D arcade game by iFun4All, a subsidiary of the Polish Bloober Team. The action of Red Game Without a Great Name takes place in a future in which outdated communication methods, such as traditional mail, are still in use. Considering the trouble ordinary messengers would have to go through to reach certain places, some parcels are delivered by dedicted mechanical birds. The players assume the role of one of them, and their task is to traverse various, rather hostile, locations with the goal of safely delivering parcels and collecting gears that are scattered around the levels. The bird we control is not entirely defenseless, though, and has the ability to teleport and to use various power-ups, allowing him to come out alive from dire situations and deal with encountered obstacles in numerous ways.

A standalone expansion for the arcade game How to Survive. While the original presents the action in an isometric view, How to Survive Third Person Standalone, just like the title suggests, introduces a TPP mode. Other than the changed perspective, it is the same production. We assume the role of one of the four castaways on a Columbian archipelago which is home to bloodthirsty zombies. Fighting them, we use only items and weapons we either found on the island or made ourselves using the advanced crafting system. Beside fighting the living dead, we also have to take care of such things as water, food, and regular rest in a safe shelter. The day and night cycle, which is present in the game, determines what kind of opponents we face at a given moment. Aside from the story mode, we can play through eight challenges, the results of which are published in an online player leaderboards. How to Survive Third Person Standalone also offers the contents of the Hello My Name is Nina and One Shoot Escape packs as well as several other bonuses.

When beginning the game, you get a simple jeep with a basic, mounted gun, but as you progress you can turn it into a massive monster truck – a mobile fortress that strikes fear in other players’ hearts. The game offers a variety of modifications, starting with different shapes of armor, weapons and side systems, through to esthetic additions.

A futuristic racing game developed by Shin’en Multimedia. It is a sequel to FAST Racing League, which was released on Nintendo Wii and referenced the iconic F-Zero series from the 90s. The game takes place during 22nd century in which technology made it possible to organize spectacular races of anti-gravity vehicles. The new discipline quickly became a worldwide phenomenon transmitted by television and watched by millions of people all over the world. In the game the player assumes the role of one of the fearless drivers who participate in the races taking take place on special tracks in various parts of the world. The general gameplay principles of FAST Racing Neo are similar to the ones in its predecessor. The player controls on of several, subsequently unlocked, vehicles with various parameters, and the game is made more interesting thanks to power-ups that can provide advantage over the opponents. The graphics were improved, offering 720p resolution with 60 frames per second.

Another installment of the popular arcade platformer game series developed by Vicarious Visions. Once more, the player has to face the ruthless Kaos who intends to take over Skylands with the use of a powerful weapon — Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction. His plans can only be thwarted by the team of Skylanders appointed by Master Eon. Similarly to its predecessors, Skylanders SuperChargers uses real action figurines that are transferred to the virtual world with Portal of Power. The novelty list includes, first and foremost, twenty customizable vehicles that can move on the land and in the air, as well as twenty new heroes, the eponymous SuperChargers. To enjoy their abilities, we have to buy them separately since the starter pack features the game itself, two action figurines, one vehicles, and the aforementioned Portal of Power. Moreover, the title supports over three hundred action figurines released alongside the previous productions.

There are various types of terrain — apart from the standard white snow, you can also encounter deep snow, which slows you down, and ice, which makes you go faster. You can participate in a variety of challenges and bonus missions with a high difficulty level. Skiing Yeti Mountain is available for free, although to disable the ads you have to make a one-time payment.

This arcade, endless-runner game brings a continuation to the long-standing, iconic Pac-Man series. Pac-Man 256 is a free-to-play title with microtransactions. The game was created by Hipster Whale - an external developer standing behind production of the popular game Crossy Road, based on similar mechanics. In Pac-Man 256, the player takes control of the titular creature running from a deadly glitch, which appeared first in the original Pac-Man game that came out back in 1980 (in the original game, the glitch attacked Pac-Man once the player had reached level 256). When exploring the endless maze, the protagonist eats yellow dots, not only avoiding the glitch chasing him, but also running from colorful ghosts the fans of the franchise are definitely familiar with. The player's goal here is to score as many points as possible before dying. Similar to Hipster Whale's previous game, Pac-Man 256 features a massive number of bonuses to be unlocked. The game is played from isometric view, following the pattern of the original Pac-Man, which was released 35 years earlier.

The sixth major DLC for the 2013’s Europa Universalis IV, a part of the grand strategy game series developed since 2001 by Paradox Interactive. The biggest novelty of Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense is the new province development system that limits provinces’ expansion based on their size and the so-called development level. By spending the monarch points, we can also expand individual buildings, making them more effective, and increase the income from our provinces. The expansion also introduces a new parliament system and previously unavailable religions (Buddhism, Protestantism) as well as increases the importance of national religions, allowing them to “modify” their doctrine to favor monarchy. Moreover, nations were enriched with a number of new mechanics that emphasize their characteristic traits.

Goat Simulator: GoatZ is a purchasable expansion which requires the core version of the game to work. The title offers a large open world filled with various attractions and easter eggs. The goat protagonist must face aggressive zombies in which various weapons created with a simple crafting system helps him. The player must take care of the needs of the character – especially hunger which must be appeased every five minutes in order to remain alive. Goat Simulator: GoatZ is filled with bugs left there on purpose in order to parody cases of Early Access games.

Together with his companion – the ghost of lady Katerina – he travels the land of Borgovia (heavily inspired by Transylvania), fighting many different monsters using both melee weapons and firearms, as well as numerous spells and special abilities. Interestingly, this is not a three-game package, as the individual installments were combined into one single story campaign, which was further enriched with improvements and new content, offering about 50 hours of gameplay. Furthermore, the game features a multiplayer option with several modes and a co-op mode for up to four players. You can join the game with a preset character on experience level 80, or create one from scratch.

One of the numerous installments of the popular The Legend of Zelda series that dates back to the end of the 80s. The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes was developed solely with Nintendo 3DS in mind. The characteristic feature of the game is the three-player cooperation mode where we can join forces with our friends to defeat bosses, solve complicated puzzles, and complete subsequent levels. Totems, which are towers that consist of three characters standing on one another, are interesting result of cooperation. Thanks to this, heroes can reach places that are otherwise inaccessible or hit a strong opponent in his weak point. Naturally, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes lets us play solo, as well. In such case, we control each of the three characters interchangeably. Clothes and weapons we find give us special abilities: they can help us dodge enemy attacks, enlarge bombs, or let us perform attacks unavailable to other characters. The game features simple and not very detailed graphics which are, on the other hand, very colorful.

A first-person shooter by Guerllia Games, developed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. The action of Rigs: Mechanized Combat League takes place in the future, and the players take part in the eponymous futuristic sport tournament, sitting in the cockpits of armored mechs and fighting one another on special arenas. Generally, the gameplay combines elements of arena FPS with basketball. The participants compete for points which are scored where they manage to jump through a big band at the right moment. To achieve this, though, it is necessary to clear the way to the goal with the use of the available weapons. At the same time, we have to prevent the enemy from reaching our own goal. There are 20 kinds of fast and agile mechs at players’ disposal. Each of these is suited for slightly different sort of play. The game features a single player campaign but multiplayer matches remain at its core.

A simple arcade game from the independent Polish studio Digital Melody. Player takes control of a helicopter and is involved in dangerous rescue missions, helping people who got stuck e.g. on mountain peaks, lighthouses and roofs of railway carriages. Each task must be performed without damaging the machine, avoiding collisions with one of many obstacles, which isn’t easy because of simple controls, preventing any precisions when flying. Aside from a classic campaign consisting of 50 stages, Risky Rescue features an endless mode in the form of a peculiar time race. It is worth going through it though, as the faster we complete each challenge, the more money we earn, which can be used to buy new, better helicopters. Visuals are two-dimensional and rather simple, but pleasant to look at.
