A sequel to an arcade racing game by Criterion Games, whose main selling point is the advanced damage model and the spectacular crashes resulting from it. Burnout 2: Point of Impact stands by the solutions originating from it’s predecessor, centering on dynamic arcade races, beefed up by spectacular crashes observed from different camera angles. The basic gameplay mode is the championship, in which our victories unlock access to new race tracks, vehicles, or duels with demanding enemies, resulting in car rewards. The game also includes a chase mode, in which we take control of a police vehicle, trying to intercept a felon before he reaches the finish line. One of the characteristic elements of Burnout2 is the famous Crash mode, in which instead of racing our task is to cause a crash with the highest possible number of vehicles involved, while the game rewards our actions with appropriate amounts of cash.

The fourth installment in a popular series of racing games, which has been developed over the years by Rockstar San Diego. In contrast to the previous Midnight Club games (the player competed in many different cities around the world), this follow-up takes the player to the titular city of angels. The developer recreated all the main districts of the metropolis, with a special emphasis placed on Hollywood. Street racing is again the core of the experience and the player is given an opportunity to control diverse cars. In the virtual garage, one will find both classic cars (above all, different versions of Ford Mustang) and modern-day rides, such as Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mazda RX-8, Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo or Lamborghini Murcielago. The available cars are accompanied by a few motorcycles, such as certain Kawasaki models. All the vehicles included can be customized, both visually and in order to improve their performances. Midnight Club: Los Angeles comes with high-quality visuals, which apply especially to polished car and bike models, as well as to diverse environment rich in detail. All of this is complemented by a day-night cycle.
