Haden Blackman from Hangar 13 posted an interesting note on Mafia: Definitive Edition. His statement for IGN may suggest that the team is working on a new installment of the gangster series.

Reddit users report that the recent 10GB patch, which was to update Mafia III to its Definitive Edition, released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, removes all the improvements designed for stronger versions of these consoles. This is not the first problem with the definitive versions of the popular series.
