Simulation games. These titles put emphasis on simulating authentic (or fictional) actions in the most realistic manner possible. They allow the player e.g. to control civil (digger, crane, bus) or military vehicles (plane, tank, warship). Life simulation games (especially The Sims series) are very specific example of titles in this category, because they can simulate almost infinite number of aspects of human lives.

In contrast to previous entries in the series, the game was developed by the Austrian studio StillAlive, previously known for the action adventure game, Son of Nor. The new developer made sure that player's role is not limited only to driving, but reflects all aspects of a bus driver's work as closely as possible.

An unusual simulation game developed by one of the former developers of the F1 series. Jalopy takes us to Eastern Europe of the late 80s and early 90s, just after the fall of communism. In the game, we sit behind the wheel of a fictional car called Laika 601 Deluxe, which was modeled after the famous DDR’s Trabant. The player’s task is to use the economical inequalities in various European countries in order to earn money quickly.

You play as a space adventurer, whose task is to look for resources on an alien planet. The main aspects of TerraTech are threefold. The first aspect is exploring varied environments and gathering minerals, which can be transported to Earth or processed. Another aspect is building sophisticated vehicles from the resources you find or parts from other machines.
