An unusual simulator, in which your objective is to bring to life a perfectly functioning species of organisms, starting from the lowest step on the evolution ladder. The game is developed by the legendary studio Maxis, led by Will Wright – the man responsible for such cult series as SimCity and The Sims. Mechanics combine elements of many game genres and each stage of your organism’s evolution offers a bit different quests and altered gameplay. Starting with the cell cycle and ending with a whole community, the game offers enormous scope of modification in regard to the appearance and other traits of your species. In later stages of evolution, the primitive organism gets a mouth, limbs, and other attributes that influence its ability to adapt and cope in various external conditions. With the game's progress, elements of competition with other species emerge and our, initially small, village becomes a huge metropolis with the newest technology.

A free-to-play MMO flight simulator. It was developed by Gajin Entertainment, a Russian studio which previously created such titles as Wings of Prey, Birds of Steel, and Apache: Air Assault. The players assume the role of fighter pilots and can pilot hundreds of carefully recreated World War II aircrafts. The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

During your career as a virtual driver you can visit such cities as Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Malmo, and Karlskrona. The locations were recreated based on authentic maps and photos. There are many other landmarks, including the headquarters of the famous car manufacturers Scania and Volvo. The game also introduces new types of roads and crossroads, and since most of Scandinavian trade is moved by sea, you will be visiting several well-known harbors. Finally, you get to admire the beautiful mountain landscapes and have to deal with tough weather conditions typical of this part of the continent.

The action of EVE Online takes place in a universe called New Eden, which consists of over 5,000 star systems. Your mission is to explore remote places of the universe in order to complete various story missions given by NPCs. These independent characters represent a broad spectrum of factions in which you gradually build up your position. With progress, you successively develop your avatar by acquiring new skills. The game also features ship customization. You can also upgrade vessels with new modules that influence performance, weaponry, and armor. Another mechanic simulator published by PlayWay – a studio known for publishing such games as Car Mechanic Simulator, Train Mechanic Simulator, and Space Mechanic Simulator. The game has been developed by Degenerals and allows the player to assume the role of an owner of the museum exhibiting tanks from the period of World War II. The gameplay is divided into several stages. In the first stage, one has to search for a machine, gather information on it, assemble a team of technicians, and set off to acquire the desired machine. The search area can be covered with an off-road vehicle, and after finding the wreckage, it has to be excavated and transported back to the museum using special equipment. Another stage focuses on renovating the acquired tank - the player has to remove the rust, replace all the damaged components, etc. In order to do this, one has to disassemble the entire vehicle, and after thorough cleaning, repainting, and replacing all the necessary parts, put it back together. Finally, the tank lands on the display at the museum and the player has to place info notes with interesting facts around the new showpiece. After that, one can start another assignment.

The first big expansion to the highly-popular simulation game, Euro Truck Simulator 2. The add-on has been prepared by Bohemian studio SCS Software in answer to community’s request. Euro Truck Simulator 2: Going East! adds new locations to the basic game, the Middle Europe countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. The developers made sure to include faithfully recreate topography of each town (including landmark buildings like the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw or the Buda Castle in Budapest), as well as realistically depicted, dense network of national roads between them. Small changes we also introduced in the visuals, especially in landscapes along routes.

Silent Hunter III is the third installment in the World War II submarine simulator series. In comparison with the previous game, Ubisoft implemented many changes and improvement in Silent Hunter III, with modern 3D visuals that render the game in a rather realistic way. The game offers us four types of U-boots in ten different development versions. All interiors and onboard devices (we can use all of them) are rendered in 3D with highest attention to detail. Each member of our crew has their own individual model and a skill set on which we base their duties. Moreover, they gain experience as we play making them more useful and reliable. Silent Hunter III focuses on a campaign during which we climb up the military rank ladder. The game comes with a level editor, in addition to single player missions, that allows players to create their own levels. Developers also included a multiplayer mode for those who are interested.

An arcade simulator of powerful trucks, developed by the experienced Czech studio SCS Software. Unlike the previous games created by this company (Hard Truck and 18 Wheels of Steel series), this title concentrates on European roads and vehicles, which were recreated with minute attention to detail. The gameplay focuses on traveling through Europe and delivering various types of cargo to selected destinations. During the missions the player visits streets of some famous European cities, including Rome, Berlin, Madrid and Prague. The cities feature their characteristic architecture and recognizable locations. The game is powered by the same engine that was used in the previous games developed by SCS, albeit greatly improved. Thanks to that, the routes are longer, the areas are larger and the vehicle models are even more detailed.

Both areas are randomly generated before each game. The life of our hero can be endangered by various threats: hunger, thirst, heat during the day, or a sudden drop in temperature at night. An encounter with a shark or sailing into the open sea during a storm may also prove deadly. Additionally, the game features an intuitive crafting system, which allows the player to create simple tools as well as more advanced structures such as a raft or a makeshift hut. High quality graphic design, featuring dynamic weather and a night-and-day cycle, stands out in comparison to other games of this popular genre.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 is a simulation game, in which you play as a car mechanic. The game was produced by Polish studio Red Dot Games, known from e.g. American LowRiders, Rally Poland and Need for Russia 4. In the game, you'll be given the opportunity to fix several car models. There are over 70 repair scenarios, in which you have to find out what's broken and take care of it. Each virtual vehicle consists of about 150 components, and to disassemble them you need specialist tools. The repair results can be tested by driving the car on a test track. Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 features simple but pleasant 3d visuals with well-rendered car models.

A sandbox space simulator developed by Egosoft. It is the fourth full-fledged installment of the popular series X. Similarly to its predecessors, X4: Foundations focuses mostly on giving the players a freedom in how they want to play. At the beginning the player takes control of a cheap space ship with weak specifications. He is being thrown into the middle of an open galaxy. Depending on their choices, they can become a space merchant, a pirate, a soldier, a bounty hunter, an assassin, an explorer or a miner. The gameplay mechanics are more faithful to the first games in the series than to the newest installments. Many simplifications were removed in favor of mechanics known from X3: Terran Conflict, now improved and upgraded with some novelties. The player can pilot many types of ships that can be freely upgraded and modified. The dynamical game world is constantly shaped by player’s actions.

In the game we sit back at the helm of the undetectable Raptor fighter and move to the theatre of action known from the predecessor. We are waiting for 10 mini-campaigns describing 10 fictitious armed conflicts involving the USA, China and Russia.

A sequel to the unique simulation game developed by Polish studio Red Dot Games, whose first edition, released for PC and mobile devices, proved to be a big commercial success. Once again, we assume the role of an owner of car workshop, and our task is to build a good reputation by repairing customers’ machines. Unlike the previous installment, this game offers randomly generated missions, and limits the amount of time we are given to complete them. 16 car models are available in the game, each of them consisting of more than 200 interactive parts that need to be checked to identify the fault. In addition to the typical repair jobs, we can also carry out tasks encompassing visual and mechanical tuning, as well as - a new addition to the series - renovation. The cars we acquire on special auctions can be restored and either sold for profit, or kept for our own use, thus building our own unique collection of vehicles.
