The third official expansion pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2 from the Czech SCS Software studio - a game which has remained very popular since its release. The Vive la France! expansion does not introduce any changes to the gameplay mechanics or technology employed by the game. It focuses mainly on expanding the game area with the territory of virtual France. In the base game, only a small part of this country was recreated. Now, the players receive the virtual representation of the entire country and a much more detailed map. Apart from that, the already existing regions of France (Paris for example), were rebuilt in order to match the level of details delivered by the expansion.

The expansion titled World Adventures allows your Sims to leave the noisy city for a while and relax in several fictional locations — although all of them were based on real-life places. During their exotic voyages, your Sims can make new friends and try a variety of previously unavailable activities, such as learning martial arts in a Chinese monastery, exploring Egyptian tombs, or taking a romantic walk in the French Champs Les Sims. Your Sims can also bring movies, photos, and souvenirs from their journeys. For the players who'd rather like to stay at home, there are new wallpapers, carpets and other furnishing elements, which bring a breath of fresh air to your Sims' lives.
An advanced farm simulator with RPG and life simulator features. The title was developed by Toplitz Productions. The player assumes the role of a rookie farmer who inherited a farm after his deceased grandparent. Protagonist’s task is to lead the ruined farm to prosperity and to earn enough money to modernize it. Farmer’s Dynasty features a vast, open world that can be freely roamed (on foots and by using various vehicles; in addition to the inherited tractor the player can use more modern and advanced vehicles). The main pillar of the game is tasks that push the story forward. Among them there are objectives unrelated to farming – sometimes player must also repair some tools or modernize a specific building. The player’s duties also include breeding animals, trading surpluses of the crops. Later in the game the player can create a family and raise offspring.

The Sims: Medieval is a spin-off installment of the popular life simulator The Sims. The title was developed by Maxis. As the title suggests, the game takes place during the Middle Ages, albeit with a humorous spin. Similarly as in the other Sims games, the player must take care of the needs of the virtual characters. Depending on selected profession (for example king, knight, wizard, bard, blacksmith), the events are shown from different perspective and the available missions vary. The creators of The Sims: Medieval focused on immersion and allowed the players to have strong impact on the shape of the game world, including the looks of the characters.
Gold Rush: The Game

A simulator of a gold seeker. Developed by the Polish studio Code Horizon, the game gives the player an opportunity to travel to the cold regions of Alaska in order to excavate lodes of shining gold. The player supplies their equipment with fuel and electricity, carries loads of soil using an excavator or a loader, cleans the material with a sifter and other devices, and ultimately picks lumps of gold with tweezers. The metal gathered is then taken to a blacksmith that can turn it into gold bars. The funds gathered are spent on upgrading one's machinery, as well as buying fuel and spare parts for the machines we own. The in-game seasonal cycle and the subsequent bad weather conditions may damage the player's equipment and sometimes even render them unable to continue excavation. A day and night cycle was also implemented - the player is capable of conducting work at night, but the necessary machines providing light use up precious fuel then, which also has to be taken into consideration. The game offers a complex tutorial for beginners, apart from the main Free Mode, which is an open-world component. In this latter variant, the player is free to develop their career, explore the game world, and discover its mysterious stories.

A new installment in the most famous civil aircraft simulator from Microsoft. The new edition stands apart with its improved visuals and support for DirectX10 multimedia libraries, enabling the developers to introduce spectacular weather effects and accurate aircraft models. The world of Microsoft Flight Simulator X is built from over 24 thousand airfields from all around the world. The players can choose from numerous authentic aircraft, from commercial airliners (including Boeing 787 and Airbus A321), through stunt planes and helicopters, and up to hydroplanes (Grumman G-21 Goose). Moreover, we are also given a Learning Center, an extensive training mode, and a number of basic missions and challenges that offer a number of hidden rewards when completed. The game contains a multiplayer component, with LAN as well as online modes. Microsoft Flight Simulator X also introduces the ability to use all of the add-ons released for the previous installments of the series.
This is the debut production from Axolot Games. The game itself is a multiplayer-focused sandbox mechanic simulator featuring elements of survival. The player takes control of a mechanic sent to a fully automatized agricultural planet to fix and maintain the machines working there. As it soon turns out, the robots inhabiting the planet went insane and the protagonist's task is to make a good use of his knowledge of machines in order to survive the attacks of mechanical enemies. Scrap Mechanic offers two completely different game modes: survival and creative mode. The latter offers pure entertainment and allows us to build machines without having to bother ourselves with threats. The survival mode resembles games such as Rust or Hurtworld, focusing on exploration, resources gathering, building different machines for various purposes, fighting, and cooperating with other players.

The fourth installment in the Elite series. The game is a space simulator created again by David Braben and the Frontier studio. Elite: Dangerous is set in the far future; after humanity had colonized countless star systems, the Universe is dominated by three superpowers: the Empire, the Federation, and the Alliance. Brave pilots seek easy money working beyond the territories controlled by these entities. The open-world game structure offers the players large amounts of freedom when it comes to exploration, trading or completing military assignments. Instead of the classic division into the solo and multiplayer modes, the creators of Elite: Dangerous allow the player to join their friends or return to single-player experience at any time.

A bestselling life simulator developed by Maxis, a studio that specializes in the genre (they've created SimCity, SimTown and other titles). The Sims enables the player to take care of a virtual family of Sims. During the game the player must take care of various needs of his characters – starting with typically physiological ones (eating, toilet, hygiene etc.), through social relations, to career. The player has great freedom in expanding his family’s house, which can be furnished with various items that will be useful for the Sims. The gameplay mechanics are based on very simple principles and lack any violence, making the game a good title for casual players. A specific humor and large number of funny animations of character’s reactions are worth mentioning.

The fifth installment in one of the most popular WWII submarine simulation game series. In Silent Hunter 5 you are sent to the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, where, as the commander of a German U-boat VII, you hunt down the ships of the Allies. There is a dynamic campaign to complete, and your actions, victories and losses affect its outcome. It's worth noting that the campaign also includes historical naval battles. One of the game's novelties is the fully interactive interior of the submarine. In this mode the controls system is similar to that of an FPS game. You can only do one things at a time, which means that you have to rely on your subordinates. Each of them has their own unique character, problems, and abilities. An important factor is your crew's morale. You can also develop your crewmates and the ship itself.

An open world submarine simulator created in Poland by Deep Water Studio. The game takes place during World War II and the player assumes the role of a captain of a German submarine who completes various missions inspired by historical events. Mechanics of UBOOT combine the features of Silent Hunter and Fallout Shelter and the main task of the player is to take care of the crew. One must consider physical and emotional limitations of his subordinates, assign functions to them etc. Each crew member has his own personality and different weaknesses which can be revealed if the captain fails to keep balance between discipline and despotism. As the game progresses one can upgrade the submarine, but our opponents obtain new technologies, such as radar, as well. UBOOT is a three-dimensional game but most of the time the action is shown on a cross-section of the submarine.

A simulation game developed by independent Finnish developer who uses nickname Royal John Love. The title enables the player to repair old and wrecked cars as a fan of 90s cars, who one beautiful summer decides to fix his old sports car. When the game starts, the player has only a tractor and a van useful when transporting larger parts. The pieces ordered by mail must be installed while focusing on details like selection of proper tools and correct combination of all engine parts. The player can also improve the car’s performance and even install a modern audio system. Complete vehicle can be used to travel through the open world of the game that recreates many aspects of the hobby, including irresponsible ones like drinking beer while driving.

Another production in The Sims franchise, the best-selling series of life simulation games by EA Maxis, previously known as Maxis Software. Unlike the previous games, which focused on the single player mode, the Sims Online is an MMO game. You start out with a small piece of land, which you have to manage — you can build your house there, or you can open a museum, a gym or a coffeehouse. Afterwards, you're free to meet your neighbors and start friendly or unfriendly relationships with them, and even join forces with them, building multi-family houses, conducting business, or even starting a religion. The production focuses on raising the Sims' standard of living and amassing a fortune. The game's servers were officially shut down on 1 August 2008.

Beyond the Baltic Sea is the fifth big expansion pack to Euro Truck Simulator 2. The DLC introduces countries like Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The add-on also offers fragments of Finland and Russia.

Another edition of one of the most advanced flight simulation games in development since the 90s by Laminar Research, a studio connected to NASA. X-Plane 11 does not deviate from the standards of the series in any way and offers its players the possibility of piloting a wide variety of civilian and military aircraft — starting from light planes, through giant passenger planes, and ending with helicopters. Traditionally, the game is characterized by impressive realism both in terms of the accurate recreation of available machines and flight physics. Compared to its predecessors, the production offers a revamped user interface, enhanced avionics, and even more detailed, fully functional 3D cockpits. Moreover, the title features new buildings and roads that better recreate the characteristics of Europe as well as airports that teem with life. There, we can see all kinds of vehicles, including maintenance and other AI-controlled machines.

An advanced railway simulator developed by Dovetail Games, a developer known from the popular Train Simulator series. Train Sim World: CSX Heavy Haul follows in the same vein, yet is treated as a separate project based on new technology. Unfortunately, this means that the title is not compatible with numerous add-ons released for the Train Simulator series. As always, the gameplay involves controlling various railway engines and traversing numerous railways found all around the world. Moreover, the players can create their own tracks thanks to the included editor. The game contains both single and multiplayer modes. Interestingly enough, the game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, an engine used in titles such as Final Fantasy VII Remake, Days Gone, or Gears of War 4. As a result, the new incarnation of the railway series received multiple fixes, as well as improved graphics and physics.

Set in science fiction realities, an MMO simulator developed by Crowd Control Productions from Iceland. The action of EVE Online takes place in a universe called New Eden, which consists of over 5,000 star systems. On the beginning of the adventure you create your own hero by choosing his/her e.g. face, past, and origin. At first you get just a small spaceship and some credits. Your mission is to explore remote places of the universe in order to complete various story missions given by NPCs. These independent characters represent a broad spectrum of factions in which you gradually build up your position. With progress, you successively develop your avatar by acquiring new skills. The game also features ship customization. You can also upgrade vessels with new modules that influence performance, weaponry, and armor. There is no idleness in space, as creators constantly add new missions and challenges.

A farming simulator from the popular series known simply as Farming Simulator, developed by GIANTS Software studio. Players take on a role of a young farmer who has to develop 4 square kilometers of land. He must gather funds necessary to establish a modern farm, which he can only achieve through hard work. We must cultivate the land, sow plants and harvest crops, as well as trade collected goods. We make use of various farming machines, like tractors, ploughs, seeders, balers, cultivators, etc. (30 in total), which can be bought with the money we earn. Farming Simulator 2011 introduces cattle breeding, with cows requiring constant feeding and taking care of, providing us in return with natural fertilizer and milk. There is also a career mode, which lets us invite other players to cooperation.

After World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, Wargaming.net (the company also known for strategy games like Massive Assault, Galactic Assault, and Order of War) brings us yet another MMO. Similarly to its predecessors, the game allows us to participate in the various armed conflicts of the twentieth-century; this time, commanding our own warship. The authors reproduced an impressive number of actual vessels with great attention to detail, taking into account not only their appearance but also firepower and numerous technical parameters. Furthermore, in order to diversify the gameplay, the creators introduced an option that enables ship modifications, adding a strategic aspect to the game. The mechanics focus around proven patterns, typical of online games and aimed primarily at competition and cooperation between players in one of several game modes available. It’s also possible to set up clans and player rankings. The in-game economy system is shared between all games in the series.

An arcade simulator of powerful trucks, developed by the experienced Czech studio SCS Software. Unlike the previous games created by this company (Hard Truck and 18 Wheels of Steel series), this title concentrates on European roads and vehicles, which were recreated with minute attention to detail. The gameplay focuses on traveling through Europe and delivering various types of cargo to selected destinations. During the missions the player visits streets of some famous European cities, including Rome, Berlin, Madrid and Prague. The cities feature their characteristic architecture and recognizable locations. The game is powered by the same engine that was used in the previous games developed by SCS, albeit greatly improved. Thanks to that, the routes are longer, the areas are larger and the vehicle models are even more detailed.
