Starfield will receive a new animation system. The chief programmer at Bethesda Maryland posted this information on his LinkedIn profile. Soon after the information was posted, the note was deleted.
It seems that Starfield will actually present better quality than Bethesda's latest games. The upcoming RPG will offer an all-new animation system, as revealed by the now deleted entry of Bethesda Maryland studio's senior programmer, Eric Braun.
Braun's portfolio reveals that he has been working at Bethesda for five years and his main task is to rewrite the animation system that will be used in Starfield.
The note was deleted when it has gone public, so we can assume that it is real, which should please all Bethesda fans, who are bothered by the developer's technological backwardness.
The new animation system, combined with better visuals, will allow Bethesda to catch up with the prettiest titles on the market. Of course, announcements and leaks are one thing, and how Starfield will actually look (and work) like are completely different issues. As you may remember, Skyrim was also expected to offer a rebuilt animation system and a new engine version. We all know how that turned out.
