Infinity Ward provided additional hardware requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Thanks to that we learned what equipment will be needed to play with ray-tracing. The devs also explained that the 175GB of required disk space previously provided includes all the additional content that will be released after the launch.

The day before yesterday we got to know the hardware requirements of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, this year's edition of the popular series of first-person shooters. However, they lacked specific information about the equipment that would be needed to play with ray-tracing. Now, finally, developers have revealed this information, as well as provided a configuration for playing on monitors with high refresh rates and high frame rates, designed primarily for those who want to compete at professional level in eSports.
The devs also explained that 175GB of required disk space for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare stems from the fact that this number includes additional content that will be released after the launch. At the moment of the game's debut, the title will take up much less space on our computer.
Moreover, the devs informed that on the day of the release the PC version, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will offer support for Nvidia Ansel and Nvidia Highlights technologies. The first one is a tool for making screenshots, reminiscent of photographic modes that have been frequently used in games lately. Highlights, on the other hand, enables you to automatically record and save key gameplay moments. It is worth mentioning that for several months now we know that the production will also launch with Adaptive Shading technology, which we could see this year in Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on October 25, this year, simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
