Capcom Boasts Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter: Rise Results

Capcom has revealed updated sales figures for hits like Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter: Rise.

Capcom has updated its so-called Platinum List, containing its biggest bestsellers, thanks to which we got to know the latest sales results of these games. The data released by the publisher cover the period up to December 31 last year.

Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 2 sales results

We are most interested in the sales of new games. Last year's Resident Evil Village has already sold 5.7 million copies, 900 thousand of which are accounted for the last quarter of 2021.

So the game is selling great, but it still has a long way to go before it catches up with Resident Evil VII: Biohazard (10.6 million), Resident Evil 2 (9.3 million), Resident Evil 6 (8.1 million) and Resident Evil 5 (also 8.1 million).

Sales results of Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter: Rise

The biggest bestseller in the history of Capcom is Monster Hunter: World, which has already sold 17.8 million copies (300 thousand of which were sold in the last quarter of 2021). Another extremely successful game is last year's Monster Hunter: Rise, which currently boasts 7 million copies sold. This result is all the more impressive as it includes only the version for Nintendo Switch. The PC edition debuted only last month.
