Another week brought with it an update to Steam's bestseller list (via Steam DB). In the period from April 26 to May 2, the undisputed kings of the platform, namely Playerunknown's Battlegrounds and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, returned to the podium. In the latter case, it's specifically, the premium pass for Operation Broken Fang, which - although formally still available - expired on April 30. Apparently, many players decided to take advantage of it at the last minute. PUBG, on the other hand, has helped by a 50% discount. The promotion will last until May 5, so it's possible that the battle royale will be included in the list next week. Death Stranding (available until May 6 with a 60% discount) and NieR Automata(50% off) are on the list for similar reasons.
Last week 's big winners - the co-op game It Takes Two and the remake of Nier Replicant - are still in the top 5. Valheim, on the other hand, almost dropped out of the top ten, which doesn't change the fact that such a long presence on the list is still a huge success for Iron Gate. The list also includes two debuting productions. The first is Total War: Rome Remastered, which went on sale on April 29. The second is Resident Evil Village, the official release of which is still before us, but apparently the game is earning good money on pre-orders.
As for the bigger drops, Battlefield V, Outriders, The Forest and Titanfall 2 completely disappeared from the list. Both Electronic Arts productions and the woodland survival game benefited from discounts that had already ended, which turned out to be particularly beneficial for the second Titanfall.
